  So now let me get this straight, If masturbation leads to Homosexuality, and they start masturbating at 18 months does that mean that we are naturally homosexual in nature?? Our parents have to train us to be heterosexual?? This must be studied more througly, somebody needs to contact the Governing body and have them put a stop to this, babies masturbating is just going to casue all of our children to be judged at G"hobah's great day, they will not make it through his judgement!!! We're doomed!!!!!

  JWD Cookbook - Info wanted - SIMON and others

  i now have enough recipes to start putting this cookbook together.

  129 recipes.

  since we will be putting this on the internet with the hopes that other people besides us will buy it what do we want to say.

  Lady here is a great one if ya love onion soup and love onions.

  1 large sweet onion (Vadallia is best, but I've used red onions too)
  1 Bullion cube (Beef)
  1 T Butter
  Parmasian cheese
  1 slice of you favorite Light Cheese (Moz, Swiss, ect, ect)

  clean the onion, on the root side do not slice too deep as you want the onion to hold together. Cut the onion from top to bottom but not all the way through cut it into four section but still holding together on the root side. Dig out the center dore down to the root or at least deep enough for the bullion cube to drop into the cored out space. Drop in the cube then butter inside the quarters and fill up the space left above the cube. Sprinkle with Parmasian cheese wrap in heavy aluminum foil and place over hot coals for about 45 mins open the foil pouch and top kwith the light cheese let set on the grill until the cheese is melted. serve in a bowl as it will be very juicy.

  The onion turns out to be soooooooo sweet and juicy you won;t beleive it's an onion

  The "Church" as we know most of it today was based upon Pauls teachings, not Peter. When the origanal religon was started they still considered themselves to be Jewish sect, until Paul came along and changed things.

  Back in my younger days, I remember a sister in the Congregation that was divorced, she has 4 kids, so one day I aske her how it was she got the divorce. She explained that the Elders had actually recomended she get the divorce so that the astranged husband could be legally be ousted and forced to make support. I guess he was extreamly violent and often would attmept to kidnap the kids. Most states now provide a legal seperation that provides the same benifit as divorce, but takes into consideration religons that do not accept divorce.

  (inspired from caspian's thread) i hope the stories help rebel.

  i was just wondering if any of you would like to share the details of your jc meeting.. i remember mine so well.

  i was about 22 years old when i went to a jw relative of mine and broke my silence about sexual abuse i suffered as a child.. at this point i was involved in some normal young adult behavior (sex, drugs & rock n' roll) but because of my religious upbringing i was going crazy over it all.. well somebody took the liberty of telling the elders i wanted to talk to them about my devious behavior that i never admitted to anybody.

  I've seen this statement here before and I know it's actually an old one but it applies here as in many cases

  Skunk= Finatic, Christian Muslim or what ever.

  Gdubya is a finatical christian, he has basically admited so, and even has the backing of groups like Pat Robertson's 500 club Oh wait he raised the price 700 club. Plus others.

  Although I agree this is very important, and is another black mark against the Borg. I however think it will be blown off by most JDumbs, for the same reason Rand Cam Engine stuff was. They try to state that they have no control over donations made by thrid parties, but the fact really is they can refuse money if they chose, and to me it is hypocritical to accept money from someone making it in a practice that is against their own rules. It would be like them accepting money from a company that is a chain of "whore houses", however I think the WTS would accept it anyway knowing where it came from.

  To Sin or not to Sin, that's the question

  it's written in the bible that we are all sinners, right?.

  it's written in the bible that god forgives, right?.

  it is impossible for us not to sin, so what difference is there if we sin alot or sin a little?

  4. A condition of estrangement from God resulting from such disobedience.

  Something regarded as being shameful, deplorable, or utterly wrong.

  So Theologically thinking you would first have to beleive in God in order to have sinned. Ethecally you can sin against mankind, but it doesn't get you into Hell Fire, but could reap you the Gallows. So if your thinking in a theologial mind set, ya gotta beleive in
  God first then be able to sin, so I do not sin, I am sinless because I do not beleive in a god, which come to think of it is a sin Hmmmmmm......

  there are a couple of ideas on this.

  one is that satan is a corruption of the egyptian god set who murdered the god osiris and was avenged by horus.. the second is found in the religion of the persian zoroaster, who professed the good god ahura mazda who was at war with the evil god angra mainyu, later known as arhiman.

  the zoroastrian concept of hell is almost a mirror image of the jewish hell, and zoroaster's religion even had the concept of a purgatory, as well as a last judgement.

  Dansk,

  I have read much of what you mentioned before. I read an article some time back that made the point, that Satan in the earliest parts of Hebrew beliefs was not an evil dieity, but was more or less the prosecuter/tester of humans for God himself. Quite different then the Satan of modern jeudeo/christian/muslim beliefs. He was not the enemy of God, but his assistant.

  Of course Satan exists, he is the reason little babies die at an early age, he is the reason that Hitler existed (and others like him), he's the reason we are tempted with ludeness, money, crime, ect ect.

  Funny how people want to put the immoral parts of human life on a mythological personage, when it really boils down to just who these people are. Satan is not the reason we make mistakes, he is not the reason bad things happen to us. I find most of the time, we make our own problems and want a "Scape Goat" to blame it on. Oh yeah that's another one, "Scape Goats" an old Hebrew practice adopted from the Canaanites.
