i keep falling over the sayings of mister larouche everytime that i take a peek at you knows posts.. i decided to investigate some of his writings.
it seems to me that he has 2 bees in his bonnet, the first is that the usa is about to plunge into economical decline, the second indicates that 'lil' ole england wants to subvert the entire united states and pinch all it's wealth.. can someone give me some background on this fellow?

Do you also believe his reptilian alien stuff, or do you transcribe that to demon activity instead, or is that where you and Icke part ways?
isaiah 30:21 is an oft quoted scripture by the watchtower.

How interesting that you imply that without printed literature the preaching work would be seen as having been halted by God. Quite a contrast with first-century preaching, which had no literature to distribute and yet they were able to speak with the public. You inadvertantly demonstrate just how dependent Jehovah's Witnesses have become on man-made literature instead of just preaching the Bible. They have become so dependent, if it were to dry up they would take it as a signal from God to stop preaching even though they would still have the Bible.

i have read some mind-boggling books on subjects such as mind-control, witchcraft, demonism, and conspiracy theories.. i obviously do not believe all i read but never-the-less have come across interesting real-life experiences that have made me wonder.. recently i read david icke's "the biggest secret" and found his theories on shape-shifting lizards ruling the world bizarre to say the least.. but something david icke said stopped me in mid-sneer.he said replace the lizards with demons if that was how you wanted to think of it.. it reminded me of a book i once borrowed from library about a young woman who was possessed by demons and described their shifting appearance as horrifically ugly or transforming to absolute visions of male beauty.. so if satan and his demons do rule this world as we were taught is it so unbelievable that they might possess influental people and certain individuals with psychic perception would be able to catch glimpses of them shape-shifting?.

May I, instead, recommend the book "The Demon-Haunted World" by Carl Sagan? If you read that, you'll be fully prepared to differentiate between real science and psuedo-science, and you'll not fear demons again.

question: does the watchtower society want individual witnesses expressing personal viewpoints about vital religious issues to persons whose intent is to record and document the findings?
the following letter written under the new letterhead from the societys service department documents the answer to this question.

Very clever and devious. Right before the floodgates open on the subject of child molestation, and right before lots of reporters are about to approach their local Kingdom Hall, the Society writes this. Without mentioning the real issues that are about to be asked about, they talk about minor issues for which ready answers can be provided. Everything else that the elders are not prepared for should be directed to the Society, with no comment from the local brothers. Thus reporters will be turned away when this happens.
Clever. The Society didn't say a word about what they know is about to happen, but they covered it anyway.

in a nutshell, what these ahem... [people] do is take a kitten, sedate it, insert the poor thing into a glass bottle with air holes drilled into it, and run tubes into it to feed it, and tubes into it to take care of everything else.
I agree, animal cruelty is no joke and should never be tolerated. Which is why I find humor based on that so funny, for it's not real. If it were real, I wouldn't find it a bit funny.

When I hear the phrase, I think of the parts of the Bible that indicate reality but could never have actually happened (the Flood, for instance).
So if you take the Flood as a parable, that's fine. But you can't take it literally.

Ugh, not that site again. How long will it take for people to see it's a parody site? Don't like the humor, don't read the site, it's as simple as that.
I mean, humor is subjective. Most humor is of the form What-Should-Not-Happen, or What-Is-The-Unlikely-Outcome. The Bonsai Kitty site is hilarious, for it takes a real habit and turns it on its ear and takes it to a horrific conclusion. But again, if this is not your cup of tea, don't read it.
Trying to censor it is the disgusting part. What is wrong with us who have come out of a system that censors ideas if we want to do the same? Free speech is only true if you defend speech that you despise. Otherwise it's no good.
And forget the But-The-Kids-Will-Imitate-This argument. If we eliminate everything in the universe that kids will imitate, we will have a sterile world. Instead, teach your kids common sense and they will not only not try something this elaborate and cruel, but they will know it's a joke in the first place.

I don't know, and in a sense I don't care. Consider: If there is nothingness after death (what I expect, given the lack of evidence for any other outcome), I won't care for I won't be aware. If there is a heaven, fine, it's a bonus that I didn't expect. If there is a hell, whether or not I am assigned there I will demand to go there, for such an atrocity is too awful to endure up in heaven, knowing that others are being tortured. If I am reincarnated, I probably won't know a thing, and will no longer be the same consciousness.
Thus no matter the outcome, I'll either be unaware, or given an unexpected bonus. I'm not worried.
