Suicide the blood will reach heaven
by Chook inwhen i joined jws my mother said " you know they don't take blood and their suicide rate is much higher than general public.
in last three years i have known three young brothers all dead at their own hands, a gun ,a rope , plastic bag over head.
i knew these guys personally, it's one sad story after another.

The rope guy, good parents ,dad xelder, looking from distance they ticked all the right boxes, then peer closer the son had been DF twice , once for try before buy with fiancée. I personally seen this kid totally distressed trying to get reinstated. My advice to him ( I still spoke to him) was to emplore the three judges to reflect the decision already made in heaven. I tried to reassure this kid that what the three stooges considered a crime wasn't even a crime in Israel. With time emotional pain become to much. The crazy thing is I asked his father whether any of our church teachings and actions had any detrimental effect on his emotions. WE ALL KNOW answer. I was at his house 1 hour after his dad cut his body from tree SAD SAD SAD.
The Bag guy ,dad xelder, good kid ,university education,expensive private school , but if kid didn't go to hall you would swear he was batting for the other team (gay). What can I say , acceptance was never going to visit this kid ,bag over head with masking tape ,tragic tragic.
The gun guy is young father who I think had acceptance issues from his Worldy parents, His JW wife had argument with his mother one hour later he's dead . 6&12 year old daughters left behind.
The time I was JW there have literally been dozens of deaths in 27 years.
Mr Morris ,Mr Lett on Wednesday morning when you get up from your luxurious leather chair just check your shoes for these boys blood. Religious dogma has killed again

Can’t cope with being disfellowshipped…..Need some advice
by xxBettyBoopxx inthis site is great, i have been lurking for a while now.
but i can’t get reinstated and have used some of the advice already given.. i was df’d many months ago and go to all the meetings and do all the preparation for the meetings, but the jc committee keep refusing me.
tomorrow at the clam meeting i am puting yet another letter in and will be called for another dreadful jc meeting.. 1. what can i say to the elders to show that i am truly repentant?.

Betty, it's not that men can forgive sin, all church's have confessional arrangements, you have to ask yourself is God behind the arrangement of embarrassing you ( public announcement) at KH. It's good for some humans to unload their hearts before God and friends, but to embarrass has no scriptal basis, even according to 1947 awake disfellowshipping is an pagan practice. Run Betty Run

One of those defining moments
by Chook in2 years ago i'm at po house for bbq, his wife tells me about her hectic drive to work for one hour.
i suggest car pooling from other women who work in same area, she goes on to explain that having to spend 1 hour each way with worldy women would affect her spirituality.
there it is in its finest definition of christian loyalty .

Anti snake venom

It was a wake up call for me 18 months ago. Bitten by brown snake in oz. I needed anti venom and of course took it. But then light came on in my head that I think it was same stance a blood factions ,which meant in old days I would have died due to a man made rule.

"Marking"
by confused inplease can anyone help me to find any information from society's literature on the subject of marking.
i wasn't aware it was still practiced.
i would like to know how it is explained as being in any way scriptural.

When you hear how JW land talk about She bears and Godly murder. It's not hard to see that "marking" which is basically saying we can stain anyone, Do you honestly believe that the Brooklyn seven wouldn't burn witches in the name of God.

JW hospitality
by Chook inabout 5 years ago when i was in, my son who at the time was 18 needed somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights due to work commitments ,in a city 2 hours from home.
my "best man" who is an elder that lives in this city , was asked could my son stay a couple of nights .
the response was he doesn't go to meetings anymore ,he can't stay here , i ask can he sleep on garage floor instead , still can't stay .

If anyone is in any doubt about head offices stance on hospitality. I challenge anyone to approach a bethel after hours tell them you are an inactive JW who is stranded and could you please provide shelter for the night.
