  The real reason is they don't want to share your contributions with any other church. They will put a religious spin saying the words pagan idols yet the real reason is all about control, just like a real narcissist.

  Odd things that come to mind when buying something!

  i was just thinking about the odd things that arise when out shopping.. i saw a bag the other day, and thought "that would be a perfect 'service' bag as it is just the right size for....oh hang on...".

  and when buying nice shoes, the thought is there somewhere..."these will be comfortable when walking around the streets...".

  To help me adjust mentally I just rightly tell myself I got conned by a slick American realestate company that has no salary . All the best bullshit artists wear the suits. The only thing I see athe shops that reminds me of JWs is the sign at the hardware store that says trespassers will be shot.

  Jehovahs Witnesses and Babylon The Great.Why the Emphasis on the R.C.Church and not on Islam.

  i was thinking back to when the book babylon the great has fallen gods kingdom rules.was published many years ago when it was believed religion was declining in the world.. the book took exception to the r.c.church as the worst of christendom substituting themselves for the kingdom of god on earth , the counterfeit kingdom i think they called them.vicar of christ on earth.. and while its true to some degree in western lands today that religion is declining as regards christendom it is not happening in non christian religions around the world.. which brings me to the unprcedented rise and spread of islam in the world today .. with the war in iraq ,syria ,etc,and the people fleeing these war torn countries to europe and elsewhere around the globe with refugees and asylum seekers the spread of islam in the short space of time now beats any missionary projects conducted by christendom.. judaism ,christendom and islam all have their roots in the bible.the jews first then christians then muslims.. the bible only relates to the first two jews and christians and is completely silent about muslims.even in prophecy.. the book mentioned earlier btggkr nowhere mentions islam or muslims.as if they didnt even exist ,yet today they equal in numbers to all of christendoms religions.. islam today is by far a greater threat to christianity and especially to jehovahs witnesses than anything the roman catholic church ever posed before.. obviously the holy bible and the holy spirit or jehovahs chosen people the jehovahs witnesses never did forsee the rise and influence of the religion of islam in todays world.. the bible is completely silent about islam or the rise of muslims on the world stage.. could it be that they could no more predict the future than i could ?.

  the wtb&ts the publishing house of jehovahs witnesses have for the past 100 years have continually attacked the roman catholic religion and portrayed them in an unfavourable light.time after time in mags and books,.

  how many times have the wtb&ts attacked and challenged the religion of islam and muslims and condemned them as a principle member of babylon the great the empire of false religion.. to this day jehovahs witnesses cannot freely go door to door preaching their message in muslim dominated countries where proselytism is forbidden.

  Go Pale you have spent a lot of effort to come to logical conclusions and now you can sleep well at night with an inner peace that transcends JW version of Holy Spirit . As for me I certainly am not convinced god set out timed planning for this planet and the solution seems to be slow on coming because it doesn't matter when it comes if we die waiting. I see good design in the human body but then it starts going to shit after 50 , as for God is he interested in me I think he would have better things to do to occupy his great mind than on my thought processes. I'm just trying to be a better person each day not encroaching on the liberties of others. All the religions have the solution to death yet no one has come back. If there is some decent guy in the heavens somewhere and he has the ability to restore life l would to think I lived a life true to myself and inflicted not much pain on others ,so if he find it agreeable to kick start the dead Chook then I bet both my testicles it won't be into a world ruled by Tony tight pants.

  My Boyfriend is a recent Ex Jehovah Witness

  i have been dating my boyfriend for almost a year now.

  when i met him i had no idea that he was a jehovah witness.

  we took a vacation and he lied to his parents about who he was with, and they ended up finding out not only that he way lying, but who i was.

  Your with a guy who is only months into deprograming from a cult that has the persuasion that the best salesman would be proud. If you take this guy on he will need a lot of help. You need to use the search bar on this site with the words ..family and sadness, and read these stories of real people who have had a religion destroy their families . If he believes the Jw doctrine and is not open to apostate views you need to run like hell , because if this religion gets in your home with children then it will repeat history with another cult affected child, also remember Jw children won't have blood transfusions this could also complicate things.   but the one teaching where they have been consistently ahead of the curve is the importance of jehovah's name.. .

  i'm going to run through a (necessarily selective) timeline of jw events and scholarly publications that demonstrate the phenomenal success of this teaching in the last days.

  So it boils down to is it gods name and was it in NT , evidence suggests no one knows the pronunciation and it was not preserved in scripture. One of Babylon the greats monks the same guys that WT says are going to Gehenna come up with the name. And in all honesty if it is what God wanted people to know him by I think he could of made everything a little less cryptic. And if there is a father in heaven he sure would not be happy withe the fraudulent religion that is bearing his name, no other religion does a better job a destroying generational family structure. This religion that has screamed wolf is in its third century of existence, just like a broken clock is right twice a day, if you go in to the forest enough a wolf will surely be seen.

  If the essence of God being honest well JW have surely disappointed him.

  regarding the recent 1975 video at the convention it hit me !.

  when reasoning with people about the inspiration of the bible we used the bible writers candor ie/ there honesty when recording bible accounts about there personal mistakes .. how come the governing body despite its claims to be spirit directed are not honest about there mistakes ?.

  This is religious fraud at the highest levels, just when we thought most of there problems originated years ago this current GB have done the unthinkable and tried to bullshit history. I personally reckon some would have left the Jw camp over this lying from the top down. Anyway this current bunch at the top would fit in well in any decade because the deceit has not altered for 140 years , fairytales and magic tricks work wonders on the crowds especially anything unseen ( heaven,hell angels ,god ) is the whole bible. Then they throw in the miracles . The next miracle from Warwick is how to fit 244000 in heaven.
