well i figured i should give you all an update.

they will be dfing me soon for apostasy.

it is not a huge surprise and i am not afraid nor "shaking in my boots", however i will admit it is stressful right now.

Damm, I am so sorry this is going to happen to you when there are so many wicked men and women in the Organization. You were too honest for your own good, it's dangerous to speak your mind, even with a mate. I found it to be comforting to have cut most of my conditional friends off over the past few months, it won't be hard for someone who has no association or desires any association with fake people.

What sucks is all the good things you did in your life as a Witness will be tossed out into the wind, people will believe the lie over the truth. Who will stand up for your side of these issues, "God is not unrigtheous so as to forget your fine works!"

Ray, the easiest way they start to attack dissidents is labeling them "insane, paranoid, PTSD, emotionally imbalanced", I pray you ignore and don't allow the silly shunning to break you down.

Are you comfortable with the direction your life is heading now, are you ready to move on with your life? Dogpatch's thread on volunteers was interesting to me, people who blogged are moving on with their life. Fixating on the negative will destroy the joy you might be able to discover once you create a new identity for yourself. You need to fill in the void that was a huge part of your life with new positive things, people and hobbies.

You seem like you have a good personality, you won't have a hard time making new friends if you can leave this mess behind. Once you dump all the negative people behind, fill yourself with things you were held back from doing, you will be ok. God Bless You and I Hope Jehovah keeps his loving hands on you.

how much force did guilt play into your relationships with other witnesses?

we wasted so much of our lives chasing things that are not real, love that was highly conditional and relationships with people that evaporated once we started to fade away.. .

I would force myself to talking with nutty brothers who seemed to be "short their rent each month, never able to catch up". How could he afford the "Dish TV" "Super-Deluxe" $150 a month tv package, eat out four times or more a week? Was it a lack of pride how he hinted he could use a advance until his government check came in the mail, "i will gladly pay you Tuesday for a loan today". Humans desire relationships or close friends but at what cost, we all found out "they" will throw you under the bus once you begin to use your critical thinking.

I lost a relationship two weeks ago, tired of listening to a friend bombard me with "the Bible say's we would have a faithful slave", I asked "well, do we take all Jesus's illustrations as literal, "Rich man and Lazarus", "the dishonest steward must be a good stewart, why don't we seek out this stewart for advice?" "moving mountains with a mustard seed grain of faith". Suffice to say, everything I said sailed past this person's head, i wish for you, I had a recording device, as my friend could not explain the "over-lapping generation", does this sound odd? "I don't know the details but the Organization can explain it good enough for me, like the examples we told others in field service (My minister will explain my beliefs for me, let me invite him over). I kick myself now, making fun of people who needed others to explain what they believe, and now the pole has shifted with the young folks in the org.

Learning things in life is fun, learning to cut bad relationships quick is becoming a new art form for me. I would cling to things that were best left to die, now I am happier as I leave behind the dark negative realm of fear and backstabbing people.

one excited brother told me, "it would be nice if new ones to the kingdom hall could see who their shepherds are.

there is a great surge in activity, new bible students will be able to locate the proper elder in charge of bible studies!

Ten years ago if you told me the "book study" was slated to be thrown into a ditch, I would not have believed. Nothing appears to be unreasonable in my belief system.

Is it far fetched to believe "name badges" are coming, not at all! Wiki your local Kingdom Hall, two our three elders names will appear as the president and directors. The badge rumor came from a brother who was glad to show me his name on Wiki, I thought "what a presumptious ass! he's gloating because his name is on Wiki's People page?"

Reasoning that badges would lead to a more "cleaner, credible and sanctioned by WTS" wholesome person, makes logical sense. Did I start the rumor here, yes, I told you what I was told by a few silly credible brothers. I hope badges are not handed out, how will we live with their big heads after this?

He makes a good point if we really are having huge growth but we are stagnant.

I know some of the real power hungry el-tards (not related to humble, kind and loving elders) would eat this up! Custom gold plated name badges, silver and bronze for minsterial servants. Who starts these rumors and would our humble elders wear name cards during the meetings as a way to distinguish them from the flock?

Are the Jehovah's Witnesses able to fully/completely understand the Bible on their own without being dependent on the Elders?

I never thought I would agree we have a clergy-laity system but I think we do. I can't go to a Tuesday or Sunday meeting without someone saying "According to the Insight Book, page 311 Volume 2, the Apostle Paul meant dah dah dah..." I am losing faith in our ability to use the Bible without something secular attached (adding the Reasoning Book inside the cover, with a small "Trinity Brochure") or woven in the front and back.

The Biblical illiteracy and ineptness plaguing our over-lapping Generation is nothing to laugh about. I am now coming to grips that what I believed over the last several decades is not true, I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest. The lack of love of a loving brotherhood should have been my first clue, second I should have noticed that "charity" is absent or selfishly hoarded for "friends" who can push you upward on your quest for position, prominence or prestige.

Timmy, it was "Mr. Flipper" who explained to me the concept of "projecting" on my post. Your former conditional friend assume's you are living "an immorral life", is this from his own dirty mind? he's under the impression college is "Animal House" "Greek" or "american pie", it's not that way.

he feels empowered by tearing up your hope and dream of earning a livable wage. His email was not Christian or "heaping coals upon your head", filled with self-righteousness, ready to preach his message of condemnation turns people away from the love of Jesus Christ.

Do people who practice bad things realize they are pushing victims to seek answers and connect with friends here? Sorry your friend did not reply in a kind and loving manner, instead of rejoicing with you it is obvious he's jealous or scared.

I think there are more good JWs than the growing number of bitter, double-speaking trolls tearing people down. Field Service is challenging enough, why can't your friend use honey, kindness and love, it's more attactive and pave's the way for better respones at the door. Please accept my apology for their behaviour, I am guilty of thinking like him and want to change for the better.

i have a sister in visalia california who is telling all my brothers and sisters "he is an apostate, our schizophrenic brother said so!".

Your kind welcome is more than I deserve, all hell is busting loose right now. I joined the site because I am up to my neck and tired of the hatred that flows from people who are "the best people on earth".

I kept my mouth shut, when Mom died my sister was going for her assets in the most indecent way. It was not enough that Mom raised her children, first baby born, she drop's him off on Mom at age 3 months till age 15 years old. Greed changes people who have plenty, family members with limited resources (non-JWs) were not picking at Mom's dead corpse the way my Visalia Sister clean her dry.

I have a brother who is dying, (schizophrenic, pathological liar, self-declared messiah) I avoided him for five years. Why should I talk with a man who beat his wife, drove her to flee because he would steal their Food Stamps to gamble. His wife now has five degrees working for the CDC, my brother is cursing her on his death bed. When I made first-contact after much prodding from family, he twisted every word I spoke, so he would be out of the "Penatly Box" (My sister puts you in her Penalty Box, if you do not obey her wild ideas), he had a big "chip" which helped him "reach out and touch her again". Example, I told him I had a dream I was in the room of an oncologist office, and he and my sister were going through Chemo." He called "sister-ever-so-willing-to-hate" and said "Brother said he hopes you get cancer and die!"

I can't imagine the pain you on JWn have suffered, I will try and be supportive and lend a listening ear. "HelpMeBelive" is my coming to grips with the evil, but I see lots of good within the Organization. I don't think the Watchtower leaders would approve of people acting so badly. I am not anti-JW, (even though someone pointed out it's an apostate website) I thought the purpose of this site is to meet new friends and build each other up, whether we agree with each person's view point or creed.

Hi MC sighed up with Coursera, Udacity and edx, it's kept my mind busy while i deal with wicked family members. Are you a "self-starter" and someone who does not need frequent contact with your professor?

please keep in mind, it's all for you, your mind and being. My Coursera class has fifteen thousand students, be prepared for silly discussions, boring stories (irrelevant to subject you desire to study) and floods of "facebook-friend-requests".

All-and-all, it's free, and you meet some cool people and learn good subjects, but you don't receieve a tangible credits.

Is it not odd, that she is the one who is celebrating the holidays she preaches are wrong? She gossips about her close friends who rely on her for secrecy and throw's them under the bus. Why don't she leave the society and tell the truth, her love of Christmas, drinking and birthdays and freaky mind game playing are her new religion?

If laying low for six months is apostasy, what is she? I kindly thank you comfort, something this hag greatly lacks. She is fantastic at labeling, projecting and judging others of Gehenna while her body smells of sulfer and fire, how sad!

I have a sister in Visalia California who is telling all my brothers and sisters "He is an apostate, our schizophrenic brother said so!"

I don't celebrate Christmas like my sister (the accuser-fake Jehovah Witness), I don't celebrate "Birthdays"(she does) and I do not invite junkies to my house and allow my mentally retarded brother to go on trips to seek out sex with hookers.

My story is I stopped attending meets six months ago, perhaps I am lying in the parkinglot of the Kingdom Hall because I allowed some to stumble me. It's ok for my sister to call everyone evil, wicked names and accused them of things burried in her dirty heart, but I am now an apostate because I missed six months of meetings.

I am becoming very sick of bad people and their quick methods to judge people wicked, while they lie, behave indecently with great hypocrisy. What should I do to contain her slander and lies against me?
