Help me with JW thought processing here. If the early Christians were commanded to let the Almighty's name be known, why didn't they call themselves Yahwehinians? Why did they take on the name of the inferior one? Could John 5:23 have more weight than the GB allows?

this 8 year old sister was the youngest of the 31 who were baptized at a regional convention in bogo city, cebu, philippines on the weekend.

I completely agree with Morpheus.

In Christendom, there are no real social consequences egged on by the religious institutions.

This child is making a commitment to fracturing her family should she or they choose to walk another path.

In the interest of full disclosure, the baptismal vow SHOULD read, "We don't really have a clear understanding of what the H×%_! € God is telling us, but do you agree to forsake all family members who disagree with us anyways?"

in an earlier thread, i mentioned that i wasn't a particularly doggy person but that my parents got a husky last year that i've come to regard as a kind of brother.. huskies superficially resemble wolves and for me it's been fun to compare and contrast husky and wolf behaviour.

huskies howl but rarely bark, and seem to have a strong prey drive and a strong pack instinct - a nod to their wild cousins.

this is why i love huskies, i think.. do you have a favourite dog breed and why?.

Absolute without fail... Standard Poodles. Loving, protective, insanely intelligent (mine used to hide in the bathtub if she thought she was in trouble), and the biggest reason?... THEY DO NOT SHED.... NOTHING.... NADA.... NEVER

A sister was reading her examining the scriptures one morning, unknown to her,she kept her door opened when she woked up that morning and went to ease herself then a thief sneaked into the house and hide under her bed,The sister began by singing a song from our song book..then the bible text for that day was ''LET THE STEALERS STEAL NO MORE BUT LET HIM DO HARD WORK...and it was supported with the bible portion that says NO THIEF NOR GREEDY PERSON WILL INHERIT GOD'S KINGDOM....after she finished she prayed and stood up from the palour leaving her bible on the table,when she came into the palour to her suprice..her bible was lost..the thief had stolen her bible...two years later the sister went to a district convention,to her greatest delight the man that was a thief has stolen her bible.sudy the bible and got baptised..then he brought the bible to the sister and told her these story...wow..the sister was so happy..Her lost bible won a soul...SO ALWAYS REMEMBER TO READ THE BIBLE,PRAY REGULARLY AND EXAMINE THE SCRIPTURES DAILY
