Elder's Wife Apologizes In Tears for Shunning Me Yesterday
by Seeker4 inhad a really interesting experience i thought some here might like to hear about.
my jw ex-wife and i still own a house together, (she lives in it and a non-jw adult son is living there with her temporarily), not to mention the three kids and seven grandkids we share, so we interact quite a bit, e-mailing, calling or seeing each other a few times a week or so.
i'm still doing some remodeling to our house.

Seeker,
Putting me in the same category as Minimus is just down right insulting. What did I ever do to you?
Your friend’s sister isn’t the cute lady that had dark hair and married a much older than her Bethel brother far below her intellectual and physical grade is she? If she is, I remember her. I had drinks in their bed-closet/apartment. If I remember it correctly Dacaries seemed to be the drink of choice among the art department clan who could afford it and had a blender. To me it was like drinking frozen green tooth paste but I appreciated the thought. I would of liked to have introduced them all to 18 year old single malt scotch but that would have been just plain mean.
Aaaaaaaa the good old days of sworn poverty.
Take care and stop with the Minimus insults or I’ll give him your phone number.
Big hug,

Seeker,
I really didn’t know your name was really Seeker4 until you told this story. Your parents must have had a great a sense of humor. Or you were just one hell of an ugly baby.
It’s amazing what it might be that creates a glitch in a persons hard wired JW programming. Sounds like a little honesty and self realization in an unexpected moment might have done it for her. We all have been there. It all has to start somewhere.
Thanks for the sharing 4.

Donnie,
It looks like you are back to thinking too much again. Even though you moved 1000 miles away your old life seems to always find you again. When it comes to ANY cult-like minority religion made in America, alienation of ex-members is a major part of their repertoire, they are all exactly the same in that aspect. JW’s, Mormons, Scientologist, Christian Scientist or who ever. Their striving to be unique and different is what makes them all exactly the same. Getting all that bullshit out of your life is like the Eagles song Hotel California.
“You can check out any time you want, but you can never leave.”
That should be the opening theme of their religions.
If you get feeling bad again. You got my number. I know when you start quoting bible scriptures you are not well.
Take care and call me if you need to, Id like to hear from you.

Susan, Susan, Susan…
If you go back and re-read the first post from the person who started this thread they asked for comments from (and I cut and paste) (sorry Q I know how much you hate that but sometimes it is more effective) ”
“if anyone here who is a mormon or used to be one or is connected to mormons”
My son use to date one until he asked and then found out the truth about them. He got the meat before the milk and then after laughing his ass off, he threw up. MY BAD!
The JW’s, Scientoligist, Moonies, and most of the minority cult like religions made in the USA use that same exact tactic (go figure).
So, once again you are using a cult like religion’s tactic of diversion along with the tactic of “discrediting” (“they asked for only Mormons to comment” not all you idiots (sniff- sniff cry-cry divert attention from me NOW! in the name of Joseph Smith). Then you do exactly what you are claiming that others do and calling us all here ignorant.
You’re not all that smart are you? But then again you don’t need to be because “you know what you know because you know it and you have the truth behind you.”
All us ignorant people have heard it all before from the other people trying to sell their god products to us.
Maybe next time you will think twice before jumping on an ex-Mormon who joins this forum or saying we are all ignorant.
But then again, thinking twice seems to be outside of your minds capabilities. That happens when a mind has been so effectively programmed like a Pavlovian doggy. One bit of stimulus and only one repetitious reaction to that stimulus.
Have a Happy Happy Joy Joy (Mormon talk) day.

Lawrence Nancy and Jeff,
Excellent job by all three of you. Most people tend to just put their brains in park when they get home from work. It’s good to see there are some doers and not just thinking of doers in this place.
Books are good. If you don’t read or write at least a little you may end up an idiot and are only capable of becoming a politician when you grow up.

Nobody with the desire, skills, time and a healthy knowledge of how to use a spell checker and a dictionary that wants to write anything should not laugh at their or anyone else’s desire to write a book or two. It’s great that people here even think about doing it. Some people here have an interesting story and a lot to say.
I started to write and illustrate a kids book a few years back just to gear myself up for getting back to doing a real one for big people. It started to get a little too dark for the minds of the little booger eaters so it went back to the back burner.
Some of the illustrations I did for it can be seen on my website in the “3D illustration section”. http://www.maloneillustration.com/
(if a mod sees this Please feel free to make the link clickable)
It’s about a caricature named Bob the Bunnyduck (half bunny rabbit half duck). The title of the book is “When the Poof goes Boo.” When it got to the point where I got frustrated finalizing the story line (it was starting to get a little too dark) I did a final illustration where Bob the Bunnyduck was holding some of the poos hostage with a Russian made AK47(It is not meant for the kids book. It was kind of an expression for my frustration at the time).
After I did that, I shelved the kiddy book to finish at another time and went back to working on a book that I started many years ago for big people. It’s title is The Naked Wolf (the battle for your heart, mind, soul and money…especially your money). I have always wanted to write something that would raise the pubic hairs in the ears of the many minority religion’s legal departments.
I think I might post a chapter or two here on JWD someday, providing this place isn’t over run with other peoples book chapters. I might even finish this one (it’s going along a lot better since my Bunnyduck break).

Susan,
Thanks for the smart-ass attempt at humor and career advice. It was lame but I appreciate the effort.
I have read some of your posts from the past and all I have to say is, find a new catchall concept besides “it’s all apostate lies” to the mounting archeological and DNA evidence showing the Book of Mormon to be utter stupidity and made up imaginative pseudo historical bullshit.
I don’t know who is the better fiction writer, Joseph Smith or L Ron Hubbard. They both are cut from the same piece of sheep’s clothing.
We hear the “ It’s all a bunch of apostate lies” instant oatmeal quick and dirty answer to everything a little too much from our own close-minded apologists. We don’t need it from you disguised as an alternative religions helpful Mormon information central.
Don’t quit your delusions.
Dave
