  this thread currently has over 300 comments.. it shows a picture of an older man washing a window looking wistfully… then it talks all about how some may have doubts about not having planned and the situation they are in now that they are older, etc.

  it refers to others who did plan and who supposedly have ‘apparent’ financial security.

  in my opinion, the whole gist of this article is to make older witnesses feel better who did not pursue a career or plan well for retirement.. it tries to imply that those others who planned only have ‘apparent’ financial security - which is to say they don’t (?).

  It looks like he is doing menial shitty work in paradise earth also, expect his wife is beside him telling him how he is doing everything wrong. Also deer are eating his crop and peeing and crapping in his backyard. Think of the Urine spots he will have to fix.

  Remember the sex talks?

  i remember sitting through public talks where the speaker spent the hour discussing in great detail anal sex, masturbation (of yourself and others), sex during menstruation and so on.

  i was a child, looking back now, i realise that they systematically stripped away our childhood innocence, we knew and heard things no 'worldly' child would have heard.. the child abuse and grooming happened to every single one of us, the feelings of guilt and shame was in all of us even if we didn't actually do anything bad, the mental images caused by these filthy men hung around in our innocent minds till there was no room for that innocence.. it has taken me 44 years to realise that what was done to us, even those of us not physically abused, is a crime.. do they still have talks like that nowadays i wonder?

  A saw video just a few years back the dangers of playing organized sports. It was literally the most homophobic and yet homoerotic thing I have ever seen. It was full of statements like " you could be in a shower with a another man and suddenly have the urge to have an erection ". It was so fucked up.

  The guy who made the video was clearly a homosexual.

  My jaw just dropped. How this even made it into the public is so crazy.

  I have a friend who was a pretty devoted evangelical. During the pandemic , his church would not comply with any of the rules. It was all conspiracy this and tyrannical government that and the vaccines are the mark of the beast etc etc. The health authorities just kind of left them alone. Any kind of police action would have just resulted in more members next week.

  Then people started to get really sick. Some even ending up in hospital. Without oxygen and steroid puffers , it would have likely resulted in pneumonia and lung scarring. Maybe even dying.

  His thought was maybe someone is missing getting cancer biopsy back in time or some asthmatic kid might need the oxygen tank.

  He couldn't attend anymore. They were just assholes. There was a bump in membership by right wing loons during the worst of the pandemic but that is over now. They never gave any money and now there is no persecution complex involved, what is the point.

  Let it die. It can all die.

  Lets hope the Ukrainian army can hold that the Russians. I don't want to see the WTS get banned in another country. Those people don't need magazines, they need weapons to protect themselves.
