  Platlets...can WTBTS policy be defended?

  if this topic has been addressed already...sorry...just ignore it.... if not...i would like to hear from those who would defend this policy....or who see the inconsistencies in the views on blood but the wtbts.. .

  the following is something i read on at another site.

  there is no question that the watchtower's blood policy needlessly kills jw children.

  what is revealed about the societys motivations regarding the reporting (or not) of child abuse?

  it is revealed that the society wants to keep reports of child abuse very private within jw circles.

  not often have i regretted being an inactive jw.

  today though, i heard a true story i would have loved to use as an "effective introduction" in a talk.

  it seems two southern gentlemen were out frog gigging in a very remote area.

  Mommy, 'Gator tail is great on the grill! Here's a good recipe for alligator sauce piquante, if you can get your hands on some
  'gator meat: Boil about 4-5 lbs. of alligator meat for 5 minutes to get rid of some of the fat. Rinse the meat in clean water(what other kind would you use?) In a big black iron pot brown the meat. Remove the meat and clean the pot. Put 4 tablespoons of oil in the pot, now add 4 tbps. of flour. Stir until the color of a penny. Chop 3 medium onions and 1 green pepper(chopped). Cook until soft. Add one 8oz can of tomato paste and 3 cans of Rotel tomatoes. Simmer it for 30 minutes. Add 4 cloves of garlic, 'gator meat, 1/4c chopped parsley, chop 2 bunches of green onion tops, 4 bay leaves, some cayenne pepper,
  black pepper and salt to taste, 1tbsp paprika and a pound of andouille
  sausage. Simmer this for 25 minutes. Throw in a stick or more of butter and cook for an additional 40 minutes. This is served over rice. Alligator meat is expensive so don't screw it up.

  i've not been on the forum all weekend, but i've just read the women jokes tread.. i just wanted to say that i think that what patricia said to you was totally unjustifed and very unfair, and i'm positive that she is the only person here that thinks that way.

  if she bothered to read other posts that you have made, she would see that you are one of the most caring and loving people here.. btw: i thought the joke was hilarious.
