All The Answers
by COMF inbilly graham, world-famous evangelist, has come to dallas, hallelujah!
and the advertising is all over the place.
one of the main slogans they're using in billboards and on the radio is, "he doesn't have all the answers... but he knows who does.".

I am fully satisfied I was created to be just the way I am and did not evolve from lower forms of life.
You do realise that the vast majority of species that have ever existed are extinct? Do you believe each one of those was created individually by god and then done away with for some reason? Or is it just humans that are unique?

Why is it 100%certain? Because of the complexity you cite? Wouldn't a creator have to be more complex? Following your logic, you would have to say he needed a creator. I imagine you will dispense with logic at this point, because it will put you in a bind. Trying to have a logical discussion with someone who picks and chooses when to use logic is uhh, illogical.

Debunking Evolution in 3 Steps the Know_You Way
by Know_You inpart iii of the annual on the road again, down from the fountain (of truth) series.. - from half-moon bay california - .
owing to mechanical problems, mrs know_you and i have had to delay our plans for the day.
the missus kindly agreed to sit in the repair shop awaiting the re-emergence of our means of conveyance, which may take all day, while i have decided to sacrifice part of my vacation to address the subject of evolution.

I JUST HAD A GREAT IDEA
by Zechariah ini just had a great idea.it has been inspired by my own post about the comparison of the past reformers of the church with that of ex-jws who seek to reform the wts.
althouh i have gotten very few responses to my post i am convinced that most believe the protestant reformation program accurately symbolizes our own reformation efforts of the wts.
hence comes my big idea.

I quoted YOU. You said you had a great idea. I was saying to treat the idea kindly since it is in a strange place i.e your brain.

"I'm not a mathematician or scientist but my gut feeling is the whole things of humans from nothing is preposterous. No scientific sounding mumbo jumbo can make me believe otherwise. I can see how science is trying to make fools of us all by trying to make us believe it is plausible to believe it took no intelligence to form and direct the development of our lives as we know it."
Ok, so now will you at least be consistent and apply the same logic to the creator and see where it leads you?

Pomegranite, I suggest you submit your probability insights to an academic journal. The questions you pose have never been considered, much less rebuffed by biologists. My only hope is that the vast academic conspiracy that is Evolutionary Theory doesn't conspire to keep your theories from the public. Did you know they get a clock radio for every (5) creationists they convert? Hang tough. The Nobel Telegram should arrive soon.

Man can live again.
by sleepy in.
i believe that it is possible for us to live again after we die.this has nothing to do with relgion it just seams to make sense to me , although it doesn't mean that we will, only that it is possible.. this is based on the following reasoning .if our conciousness us just a function of our brain, and our brain is just a pattern of atoms, then all that needs to happen is a recreation of this pattern.. computers are getting more powerful, maybe sometime in the future we could map an entire brain and recreate it in a test tube.maybe the dna of dead people could be used to recreate them.
since the specific birth of yourself happened and your particular brain was "created" there is no reason it can not happen again with the right conditions, even naturaly.. if the brain is more than just what we think it is, and has an existance like a soul or is an effect like gravity caused by the physical makeup of the brian interacting with something else , then it should still be possible to live again if the brain is recreated.. whether this will ever happen i dont know.

There's a book by Frank Tipler related to this. It's called The physics of Immortality He imagines a future Billions of years from now, when the quest 'for total knowledge' will prompt the creation of a supercomputer he calls the omega point. It will simulate the every possible quantum state of every atom in the universe. Whatever quantum state makes up 'you' will also be simulated, allowing you to live your life again. Of course every other possible life for you (great ones as well as horrific ones) will also be simulated.
Personally, I think Prof.Tipler just wrote it for some quick cash.
