Blood and the "Neo-Apologists"

for observers of jws on and off the internet, its no secret that certain jw doctrines are in trouble.

by this i dont mean to imply that these doctrines are subject to any imminent modification or reversal and i dont necessarily even mean to imply that these doctrines are wrong, although in some instances, i believe both to be the case.

what i mean by the phrase in trouble is that the information published by the jw parent organizations and currently available to jws today is completely inadequate even when it comes to responding to a polite level of inquiry from the average intelligent individual.

It would be 'good' and serve a purpose, if some JWs would begin to actually think about their beliefs and the consequences of their beliefs on their children.

Yes, a purpose. It WOULD be good IF and WHEN they start considering how the consequences OF these beliefs, manifested into POLICIES THAT KILL, and the effects on OTHER children besides their own.

But wait! They don't even do THAT; CARE ABOUT THE EFFECTS ON THEIR OWN CHILDREN. How silly of me.

Protecting the congregation's purity is the point of disfellowship. Members are kicked out before they can harm, or continue to harm, others with conduct or beliefs that contradict the Bible.
Sherwood elder Tom Davis said there is a second purpose: Putting a member back on the proper moral path. Davis said disfellowship -- or even the threat of it -- often forces people to make positive changes in their lives.
"This helps someone realize that they've made a mistake and need to change their ways," Davis said. "And we're not talking about little stuff. This discipline comes from violating the stated laws of God."
According to elders, experts and church materials, here is how disfellowship works: To get kicked out, baptizedmembers must display a pattern of"serious un-Christian conduct," such as molestation,adultery, drinking or lying. Promoting teachings that conflict with the Bible also qualifies.
It isn't clear what Robert Bryant's offense was. Neighbors and friends in California said he began to question Bible teachings and found the Shingle Springs, Calif., congregation too controlling. An elder has declined to discuss specifics, saying Bryant had "turned away" from the faith.
Elders said they try to avoid shunning through Bible counseling. And, if repenting members convince leaders they've changed, they can stay. If they don't, elders call a private, judicial-style meeting and expel them.
The shunned still can attend religious services, officials said, and conduct business with members. But Witnesses are instructed not to socialize with someone who is disfellowshipped.

So, which is the worst offense? It is pretty transparent.

No smoking and no drinking policies don't push people over the brink TED. Your lethal policies ARE. HAVE. And WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.

"Declined to comment"? You and your henchmen need to talk to the people whose doors you keep knocking on and explain these policies and why this man felt such desparation. COMMENT TED. Tell this world that you profess to hate so much and are waiting with drool and blood dripping, for it to all end soon so that you can live forever...blah, blah, blah, why these policies are so important to the STRUCTURE OF YOUR CORPORATION.

Don't pull a Halliburton either TED. That would be a very bad idea to even consider.

Email this article to your local news and representatives. Bomb the news corp with it. Tell them and show them the facts and stats on these policies. It's their responsibility to report it. Be relentless and determined.

And yes, flyers would be a great too. Just put them anywhere and everywhere. Especially places where people have to wait. Where other reading materials are. Include this forums web address.

Does Knowing the Truth Make you a Happier person?

many of us who were once jehovah's witnesses had a measure of happiness in our lives.

for me, i had a hope in the future, i had answers as to why we are all here, i believed in a loving god who looked after me and cared about me, i had answers to all of lifes big questions.. when i found out the truth about the witnesses, i was lost in a great big world and now had no answers other than the fact that what i once believed was "the truth" in actuality wasn't the truth.i now had to start all over in my search for truth.

for me, it wasn't long before i found what i thought was the truth since i always believed in the bible.

Fanaticism, in any form, whatever the cause, is always wrong.

I'm referring to active "dedicated {contracted} jws" gumby, like yourself and countless others who frequent this forum.

The "apostates", "disfellowshipped", "inactive", "opposers", "disassociated", etc. should not be the ones fighting so hard for truth and justice.

You and those that have all these excuses not to, are getting real tiring gumby. It's becoming very aggravating as well. It would be so simple to gathers yourselves as one and blow the lid off the deadly policies. Yet, no. You go back! And forth. Back and forth. To meetings then here. Here, then meetings. All the while you could have spoke out on all that you know is corrupt. But you don't. You keep the killing machine, killing.

It's that simple gumby.

If you are a happier person knowing that this organizations policies, that you uphold, as a dedicated member, continue to kill children, than brother, the Watchtower needs you!

Go forth! Stand firm in YOUR re-instatement. JW's have always been about themselves and their salvation. Why should we think any different now?

Working together

folks i want to say this, we need to put aside our political and religious differences, and work together to stop this cult dead in its tracks.. .

i am an equal opportunity apostate, i dont care if you're white,black,democrat,republican, gay,straight,christian, atheist.

we all need to work together to oppose this cult.. .

My very strong opinion is that the evry ones who CAN and SHOULD be stopping this cult, who continue and choose, for whatEVER 'reason', to stay connect-dead in it's tracts {pun intended}, are not pulling their weight in the fight to expose this organizations deadly policies.

Take what you know and expose it to the CONGREGATION. The news. The authorities. Your representatives. YOUR COMMUNITIES. Get out of your-selves and start sharing the wealth of knowledge you've gained from THE REAL TRUTH.

I stand firm on this.

It's dissappointing too.

The ones who CAN and SHOULD be alerting the media, telling their testimonies, denouncing the fraud and killing machine that the WATCHTOWER is, are not doing so.

They are continually and CONSISTENTLY [keeping] the wheels of the Watchtower running.

So much time has already passed since 1980, and still needless deaths are occuring. Why? Because it STILL has "dedicated {contracted}" members. It doesn't matter WHY you stay or re-connect {re-instate}. The very fact that you stay is what will HELP {PARTICIPATE IN} the Watchtower continue in it's DEADLY POLICIES.

I stand firm on this.
