by Dutchie indoes every issue of morality have to be compared with the thinking and teaching of jehovahs witnesses?
simply because you are no longer jehovahs witnesses does that mean that you flaunt all moral authority and engaged in any perverted pleasure that you have a mind to?
because your morality is no longer legislated by a pseudo religious organization does that give you license to engage in all acts of "immorality" and refer to it "as just having fun.

My PC illiteracy saves me....I don't have the slightest idea how to post a picture, even if I were so inclined. I am a newbie, and for what it's worth, I left the JWs recently, and I DID come here to commiserate, and to get support. As you all know, leaving by any route is life-altering. But, I pick and choose the threads I read and post to. If I (or anyone) chooses to...or not to...look at nude pics, there is no body controlling my choices anymore. All of us are free to look, or not look. Isn't THAT the whole point? I have been reading posts for only a few days, and I was learning much from I&Ps insightful, intelligent contributions. Life will go on without the input, but I, for one, was benefitting.

a thai man has killed his wife after the two quarreled over the tv remote control during a world cup match.. chartkaew yam-uarn, 18, was shot by her husband, arrested as he tried to flee the scene, said police captain jittikul kaewklangmuang.. yai, a 20-year-old motorcycle taxi driver, confessed to the shooting but claimed it was an accident, jittikul said.. the suspect said the fight started thursday when his wife kept nagging him about his laziness since world cup tournament began two week ago.. she then snatched a remote control from him and switched to a soap opera in middle of the game between mexico and italy.. after failing to grab the gadget, yai slapped her in the face.

by DanTheMan inis it just me, or is alchohol consumption at parties and vacations virtually an unwrittten rule of jw-culture?.
when i was in, i did not drink, and i still don't.
i often felt almost ostracized for this by my jw associates.

I have a dumb question....
by SpiceItUp inok i have been reading and posting for a couple of weeks and love it here.
i noticed some terminoligy that i hadn't come across before when speaking about the jw's.
i get calling them the "borg" - i am a star trek fan (lol..i think its funnie) but i still cannot figure out why they are called "dubs".. can anyone explain this to me please?.

OK Spice, I'm a newbie too. My guess is the dubs refers to JW...dub being the first syllable of "W"..Jdubs..a nickname of sorts? Good guess? Borg was explained to me earlier this AM...it does refer to the Start Trek borgs....oneness of mind...all controlled by the superior...aptly applied here.
