Need to add: the cycle consists of 4,7,8. Do 4 cycles...... that is considered a 1 set. Do 4 sets per day or as needed. Hope that's clearer.

i cant stop thinking too much
by sam1987 ini seriously cant stop thinking into things too much, does anyone know any good ways to stop over thinking?
i just want to let myself go with what i want to do, not with what i think i should do, (this is all probably because of the way im used to thinking in the old days), is there a way you can stop yourself from thinking a way you dont want too?
this probly makes no sense to anyone but i cant exspain it any better.

Some say a type of meditation where you focus on your breathing will help. You might try researching various breathing exercises. The idea is to quiet your thinking mind and get your attention (consciousnes) on what is actually here now. The thoughts will come and go, simply watch them rise and fall away, WITHOUT attaching to them. When you attach they cascade on and on taking your attention and emotions with them. Focusing on your breath keeps the mind on something other than the thoughts. Eventually the thoughts will slow down and your attention will be on what is around you. You will be perceiving with little or no thought. Refreshing. One suggested exercise is to sit comfortably and breath in through the nose silently counting 4 seconds, hold that breath for a count of 7, then breath out through the mouth for a count of 8, then start the cycle again immediatly after the 8 count exhale, in 4 seconds, hold 7 seconds, exhale 8 seconds. It is the ratio that is important. Do the cycle three or four times a day or when you feel the need. This exercise is reported to have beneficial physical effects over time as well. Do some research on breathing exercises.

Since growing a pony tail I have a sense of command . I am no longer visited by the elders ( to encourage me), dubs may say hello but never converse ( to encourage me). I have a sense that I'm having the last word . Impowering. The poney tail must speak volumes to them. Hilarious! As the saying goes : the best defense is a good offense.

Gregg Stafford returning to the Big O
by Amazing ingreg stafford posted on july 1, 2006 that he is returning to the organization.
you can read his article at: http://www.elihubooks.com/greg-stafford/another.htm.
his rationale and logic are most interesting.

"I left the organization before because of the “bad”; I am returning now for the sake of the “good.” I do not expect that either will be missing, but I want to see them both again ".
Reading between the lines.........
In my opinion this is the continuation of the personal religious crisis brought on by Mr. Stafford's original disillusionment. I think many here have been through this, I know I have. It took several returns before I was able to understand why I kept going back. Likewise it took several returns before I realized that the Congregations are only attractive at a great distance where the myth can have full sway over my emotions. Certainly one has to reach the point of being willing to take the indictment of the Organization to God Himself and indignantly leave it there. This willingness comes when, again, the "bad' is not content wjth your freedom of conscience.

Is all religion just about personal egotism?
by jambon1 inas an atheist, i feel like i am coming to terms with my mortality.
one day i will die, just like the beasts of the field.
it has lead me to think about the whole concept of religion, a personal god, one who approves or disapproves of our individual actions.

Let's play an apostate game with the Awake! magazine!
by slimboyfat inthe most recent awake!
has a really stupid comment from a reader published in response to a story about a brother getting over a drink problem:he stated that those in the congregation "were always by my side to give me encouragement.
" but should he not have been reproved or even expelled from the christian congregation?.

dvw, That is the WT model. Everything comes from the top down. Of course in the beginning the potential publisher is told he is like the noble minded ancient Beroeans "carefully examining the scriptures daily as to whether these things were so." Later , he is fitted for brain crushing conformity and finaly for emotional dependency. Then he can be trusted ( but not completely).

One of the WT writers stayed with us and later I wrote him suggesting that Jesus, having been an Archangel, had the edge over Adam . I then argued that maybe it was important that a man and an angel die faithful because the challange by Satan may have extended to the heavens as well. The writer wrote back that I should not push ahead and that the Society is the source of any new ideas. Within the year the idea showed up in the Watchtower. i still have the letter . It was the last time I ever "risked" pushing ahead.

Shocking Announcement: Society feels Armaggedon coming this year?
by truthseeker ina rumor alert indeed, but it could be related to the distribution of kingdom news no.37, "false religions end is near.".
the following is posted from e-watchman's forum.. make of it what you will, but in light of all the rhetoric about "deliverance at hand" and "independent thinking", nothing would surprise me anymore.. http://e-jehovahs-witnesses.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1502&st=0 we posted about an announcement it was only local to our cong.
however we have found out that there is going to be an announcement sometime in september and it is supposed to be shocking.
