While I agree with alot of what you said, I'd like to advise you to listen to what uncle bruce said to you about unconditional love. What I realized by going through the fire is that I needed discipline because I lacked FAITH in that unconditional love. You mention that we will need discipline BECAUSE we fall short of God. That's not entirely true. Jesus died because we fall short, demonstating His UNCONDITIONAL love for us despite our shortcomings. FAITH in that unconditional love is what discipline is meant to produce. That is all we need to have our shortcomings attoned for.

It seems that the WTS has no respect or FAITH in their own doctrines, why should anyone else?
And WHY would the WTS FEED people UN propaganda? I thought the publications where to promote Jehovah's Kingdom, NOT Satans?!?Can you say HYPOCRITES? You DO remember what Jesus said about them, don't you?
I live true to my faith in God. You can't say the same, because YOUR faith in God is spoon fed to you and can change from one publication to the next.

LOL...the Witnesses 'truth' is that no one will be resurrected who refuses the 'refuse' of the WTS. Why would someone want to eat something that is revealed by the 'light' to be 'shit'?
The 'truth' about the Witnesses is that they are under the delusion that EVERYONE who hears their message recognizes it as 'true' and those who don't accept it are knowingly turning their backs on the 'truth'. Of course, the 'truth' that people rejected a few years ago isn't the same 'truth' that people reject today, is it?
And speaking of the resurrection...weren't Moses, Daniel and other men of God supposed to be resurrected during Rutherfords time? What makes you think that JW's know any more about the resurrection today than they did then? I guess you're expecting that to happen any day NOW though, huh? Do you think they'll come to the Kingdom Hall?
What if they refuse to wear suits or shave? Will they be counselled or disfellowshipped?

by moman init seems this whole debate, (creation v/s evolution) iz coming to the fore again, along with (religion v/s state) debate.
my sister iz a producer for pbs & haz a documentary coming up on the scopes or (monkey trial), & i think little haz changed.. i am non-religious, but i can't help laughing when arguements are made claiming man & monkeys share common ansesters, although a few individuals on my wifes side make me wonder.
i am not saying, i have the answers, but man iz just so radicaly different from animals!

I have another question...regarding myths and legends. I know that evolution takes a long, long, time, but why aren't there any myths and legends that take us out of the trees? I know that sounds stupid, but it's the easiest way to put my question. Basically what I'm asking is why doesn't the legend line seem to have any remembrance of the line of evolution? Would there be no congnizance of the 'true' predecessors of modern man? When, how and why did/would it get lost?

Do evolutionists ever try to look into what may be next? If we were to consider the adverse affect man seems to have on his own environment, air and water pollution for example. Would natural selection dictate that humans and other animals would evolve to be able to exist in this altered environment (if it were to develop to an extreme degree)? Or are will it lead to the ultimate demise of our own species?
To take this self destructiveness a little further, wouldn't self preservation be a result of natural selection? It seems that mankind as a whole doesn't seem to be too concerned about the detrimental affects some of their actions may have on the existence of our species.
I don't really know how to say what I'm thinking. If we are the best of the natural selection, why are we so unconcerned on a subconscious level about our environment? We are dependent on it for our existence, yet we haven't seemed to evolved to the point of understanding that in a very basic way. Is that too befuddled? LOL -

Did the varieties in the environment also evolve? Did the environment (plants, water, air quality, etc) affect the evolution of animals, or did evolution affect the environment? Did they evolve together?
