It is mind blowing to me that they get away with this level of control , but then they stop people from having transfusions.
However l can , sort of , see that they at least used some odd twisting of the Bible to back up the non transfusion stance . Which as far as l know no other religion agrees with .
I can't for the life of me think how they can give any Biblical backing for an anti vaxx stance .
So why does anyone take any notice of this ?

i've not heard anything from pimi wife about going back to the khs yet let alone the door to door work.. many churches round here have re-opened if only for private pray and i am guessing that things like singing may be a factor in the reluctance of the witnesses to get back together again.
i also detect that many older ones are still quite afraid to go anywhere they may come in contact with people, even for shopping.
on the other hand, here in uk you can now go to a football match with 70,000 others shouting and chanting.. the door to door work may a total different issue.
My CofE church has been open for services for a while now. We are encouraged to wear masks ( can't be made to ) and sing quietly behind our masks or hum along .
We also had our first fundraising/ social event on Sat with an Autumn Fayre. Again people were encouraged to mask up inside but because the weather was good , for the UK , a lot was out side.

Here in the UK you can buy CBD and it's considered very safe and effective for pain relief .
I know someone who sells it and she says that she has all sorts of buyers , even a policeman.

congratulations to ms raducanu, from orpington, kent (my hometown).. she has just won the us open on saturday.
i don't have a tv license or a tv, but i did manage to see the final in my local pub.
and the two finalists didn't disappoint - it was a cracking match with a high level of tennis.. and raducanu triumphed 6-4, 6-3. her achievement is pretty much unprecedented.

I once heard a JW say " I was raised in the Truth so I'm not racist " as if ONLY JWs aren't racist .

i thought i had seen everything, but i picked up a bible at goodwill yesterday that has the tetragrammaton in hebrew in the ot.

it has the tetragrammaton in the nt too.. published in south africa apparently, 1998.. .
In the NT ? Wow , most scholars agree that the Tetragrammaton was never in the NT .

in the latest jw broadcast, anthony morris the turd gives a talk about donations.
to camouflage this, he starts and ends the talk by saying that isn't actually what he's doing.
first he starts with the usual disclaimer, 'wt has never begged for money like christendom and we never will', you know the drill.
Data Dog l think that you're right . JWs that l know are nice people .
It begs the question why don't JWs see the difference between the example set by the apostles and the attitude of the GB .
