Fading is better then completely leaving...comments?

i got the internet in my house and realised it's all lies....but as a pioneer/ministerial servant i chose to fade.

see i had family and friends who were fully strict witnesses.

so i played the poor lost soul brother who is not sure what's happening.

I sort of get why people choose to fade but are you ever free ? You can't celebrate birthdays or Christmas if you want to . Can you have worldly friends? It seems like the Watchtower still kinda runs your life
I may be wrong about what you can actually get away with, but l am curious as to how much of a hold the Org does still have on you .
Do people who have made a clean break feel a sense of relief that they are free to live their lives as they wish ?
Does that outweigh the fact that some family and friends no longer talk to them ?

i have been watching a youtube creator who had some thoughts on the subject, bringing out jw were not really christian, based upon their actions.

he made a pretty good case.

Acts 2 verses 42-47 are interesting in many ways .
Verse 45 says
" they sold property and possessions to give to any who had need "
So love and charity are much in evidence here among the early believers.
Now most Christians today don't go that far but do support charities which are organised to help " those in need " worldwide.
Most campaign for governments and councils to act fairly to people and provide support to those who need it
Of course Witnesses are only allowed to donate money to the Org. for who knows what purpose.
They aren't allowed to participate in "politics " so can't hold those in power to account
Those verses also say that believers met together daily to break bread . Which would indicate that they celebrated the Lord's Supper . So the Org are wrong about that as well.

There are two deaths.
Rev 2: 11 " Whoever has ears , let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches . The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death. "
Rev 20 : 6 Blessed are they who share in the in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them , but they will be priests of God and Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years "
Rev 20 ;14 " Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire . The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire "
So Adam and Eve subjected themselves to the second death.

Nicolaou l don't think that a doctor would say " your Mother will not die " because he / she would know differently.
Or they would mean that she wouldn't die from that particular thing .
Doctors usually say : your Mother can have many more years ahead of her " or something like .
Your pretend conversation is contrived to support the point that you want to make

i’ve decided to disassociate from the jw organisation.

i cannot be part of a community that blatantly rejects the sacrifice of jesus in that demonic memorial ritual.

amazing what information you find when you start researching.. i’m writing my letter and posting it to the kingdom hall this morning.

1Corinthians : 5 talks about how to deal with sinful Christians. However it means idolaters, adulterers, drunkards etc . People who habitually behave in such ways , not someone who slips and has a couple of sherrys too many then repents . Or someone who is tempted into a one night stand and repents .
The WT goes way beyond Biblical teaching.

DoC l didn't mean to give Teddnzo grief . I was just making the point that shunning is working. So many people stay in because of the fear of being shunned.
