You don't seem to be as happy anymore!?

i have been told by some in the cong that i don't seem to be as happy anymore..."what's wrong?

" they ask..... i feel like screaming out "i'm not happy because i'm going insane living a sham fake life stuck in the org pretending to be a good ms and witness!".

i really do feel it is taking a toll on me...and even the damn bros and sis are now seeing it!.

Welcome UFC fan. Not sure how old you are, but its good to know you need to have full mind capacity to live a good life, when you are so young. Use it. Learn all you can. That way when the time coems for you to go, you can do so with a future ahead of you.

Your feelings mimic my own at one point so much I might as well be stuckinarut 1. One thing you can for sure do.....is stop being an MS.

My "removal" because I strted getting beligerant apparently, was just the push I needed to sever the ongoing habitual grind. I don't know your curcumstances, or if you are trying to get family out etc...., but be smart about it, and you can still be "in" but express a bit of your freedom. being an MS that is hard.

I spoke to their recruiter. Seemed like a decent person,a nd she has spoken to many people. I'm not ready to put my face out there, or I may do it. Shes looking for people in that middle stage. Its about life after you lose your faith. Consequences and real story will be interesting enough. Its not about one particular religion.

So if you recently left or faded, don't mind having your face up there, and are trying to get family out, cope with loss, or more....that is who they are looking for.

It also appears multiple people have warned her about Fearons credibility.

was he divorced and why?

I live just a few minutes away from the Sarim and the Shan. Besides drive bys, I never actually went up to the homes. I know former owners did not want to let people in. The properties have changed hands a bit though now.

Wow just a few months ago eh? So I have to ask......what did it? What event or system of events finally got you to scratch off the blinders? Its a question I always thing of, since I have so many i would like to get out.

As far as the movies....I say don't worry about why you may or may not want to look at something. The Harry Potter movies are "meh" in my opinion. I'm more of a LOTR and Star Wars guy myself.

Just enjoy what you would like to enjoy, and discover things you previously held in low esteem for no other reason than you were told to.

Public Speaker Cries During His Talk

his talk was about reaching out for the real life.. he is in his mid seventies, then begins to rant on about staying loyal to the organization because many of us have lost loved ones in death and if we want to see them again we must remain in the organization.

he says he wants to see his father again, then the tears begin to flow right there on the stage.... then an elderly sister during the watchtower study admits to regetting leaving her daughter behind to seek a better life in the u.s, and she is crying.... these 2 meetings was just plain weird..

Honestly bro, about your same age, and yes its easy to get caught up in the regret or anger. I struggle with it. It kills me to see so many of my friends waste time, delay or decide not to have kids because of "this old system", and worse, throw away opportunities in life.

But people do that all the time for a variety of reasons.

The biggest thing this religion has on people, is that you get to see your loved ones again! Not as an angel or something you dont know......but just as they were! Even better! Your dad won't be old and having to deal with the indignity of severe age, he will be able to pick you up with one hand again. WOn't that be awesome!?

THIS is the thing people stay for. Not the disfellowshipping, not the community.......the dream of living forever with nobody ever dying.

Can you choose what you believe?

i hear it all the time.. people who decide it isn't the truth and leave are said to deep down know they're leaving the truth, choosing instead whatever ideology suits their imperfect desires.

in the new dvd the little kid asks why people believe in evolution and the dad basically says people believe whatever they want.

the actual issue is never actually addresed though: "did life evolve?

Nice thoughts. I agree that the real question is never answered. it is assumed you muct be on one particular side of it. If the other half of the discussion is forbidden from even being CONSIDERED, as it is with JW's, then you will never get someone to think until they are already willing to be disobedient.

Thanks for answering my question. In addition to those thoughts are of course the idea that Jesus baptism didn't take place until he was 30. Of course I am sure the common retort would be "well thats different because his purpose here...."

I guess I am looking for any indication of a child going through something in dedication that is that young in scripture. You can take pride in not baptizing infants, but if you allow a 10 year old to make that kind of "decision" when they cannot possibly know the outcome of their decision nor weather it will reflect there non-adolescent self......is it really any different?

Ugh.

Rick representing EX-JW's in a show that could be popular, is not good for any of us. He will get discredited by anyone with half a brain and a few google searches.

They probably are looking for people near their home base. There are lots they will find able to do this. My only concern, is alot of people that left in the 90's are not neccesarily in tune with the kinds of things that might perk up a JW's ears when watching this show. And you KNOW alot of JW;s are going to watch. :)
