jr brown stated, "it is possible out of the 77,799 elders in the usa that a few of them did not follow directions.".

What is good is that he is passing the buck to the elders. Maybe if the elders realize that it is THEIR decision to follow the right course of action and if they screw it up, then its on THEIR head, then maybe they might just do the right thing!!!
Instead of looking to follow a directive, they will look to protect their ass.......and just maybe a little child will be protected too!
Instead of calling mama, they will look at the obvious and say pedophiles don't get to stay incognito and go door to door.

divorce....

take care, you will get thru this as well. Many of us have been thru a divorce, some thru more than one. It is hard on the kiddos and they usually don't understand. Although, for me and my sister, we used to pray our mom would divorce my dad so some of the stuff would just stop.
She didn't divorce him til much later, but she sure could have saved everyone a lot of grief had she done it sooner. Fighting and bickering just screw up a kids head, then they repeat it unless they learn good family habits.

Holly's abuser got a minimum of 57 years in prison. You can read the details at Silent Lamb's website. Not only did two of his daughters testify that they were both abused, but the third daughter, who didn't testify, has claimed to be abused as well.
Paul Disgusting Berry will be a minimum of 100 years old if he is ever released.
What is sick is that he remains in good standing in the Org. There were dozens of JW supporters there to testify on his behalf at the sentencing hearing. The judge really let them all have it telling them not to trust people just because they appear to be God-fearing.

But if luaus had their roots in "paganism" but no longer carry any thoughts of being pagan, then whats wrong with Christmas and birthdays?
Wedding rings, bridal veils, bridesmaids dresses all had their roots in paganism as well, but I tell ya, I have yet to see a JW bride wearing a red dress and foregoing that diamond ring!!!

LIE LIE LIE again. With the case of Paul Berry, all 3 of his daughter said that he abused them. Two (2) of them had the courage to face him and the youngest is still under 18, but you know what??????!!! He is still in good standing!
He says and I quote, "that as soon as this over, the WTS said I will be reappointed as a ministerial servant." He is in good standing and has the backing of the whole congregation and the WTS.
Not just one count, but 3!

Well, if they are getting 500 pounds, thats about $750 US right? On Trading Spaces, they get $1000 US each. So thats a bit more money and yes, the carpenters do a good job making sure the stuff is real sturdy.
