Terry's not the only one.....
by journey-on in...that can ask "what would you choose" hypothetical questions.
i hope he'll answer mine.. what would you do if science proved beyond any doubt that there is an afterlife where one's consciousness gets uploaded to another dimension at the time of death and your "soul" carries on (like a caterpiller morphing into a new form as a butterfly) in that new dimension.
wait....i'm not through:.

Atlas Shrugged Part 1
by littlerockguy inwent and saw atlas shrugged part 1 at the rave theater here in little rock friday night.
i was surprised it showed here since it had such a limited showing.. anyway i was really surprised at how well it was done on such a limited budget and a very tight and short schedule to have the whole picture done and it really followed the book very well.
i went to the 7:15 showing and the theater was packed but but not sold out.

Humorous that the movie uses the railroad industry as an element.

I'll be a tool and answer; if you don't have one, a lithium ion impact driver makes life SO much easier. (the impact driver is much better for most things than a simple drill/screw gun).

Which one of these men will you kill...if either?
by Terry ini like to perform "thinking experiments" like einstein use to do.
of course, he was better equipped for it than i am.
but, dash it all, i do anyway.. i imagine two men sitting side by side in a train station waiting on a train.. they more are less look like fairly "normal" people.

I would undermine the credibility of all JW's in prison by DEFENDING MYSELF while refusing to defend my own country!
I could not bring myself to break this rapist's instep!
You're asking me to accept an extraordinary claim: that you thought all of the above in this outrageously tense moment.
btw, so long as it is an impossible hypothetical, your initial query is a math question, not a philosophical question. Like you, I do worry about people who couldn't or wouldn't act positively on simple, obvious math facts - and who then posture that their lack of action would be because of some bizzare take on ethics and their own deep inner abhorence of violence rather than a simple lack of confidence in their own ability to do the heroic thing in a decisive moment (at the least, they could/should confidently challenge the assumptions in your initial premise) coupled with a fear of consequence to themselves if they fail. But then again, that seems to be approximately what you are doing as you retell your experience with the big guy. There's probably a really interesting study in all this: The Math of Fear.

Wisconsin Republican Stronghold County "Finds" over 7000 Uncounted Judicial Votes!
by Justitia Themis ininterestingly, prosser needed to garner 7,400 more votes to make kloppenberg inegligible for a state-funded recount.
fortuitously, they "found" just enough prosser votes!!
perhaps we need the un to monitor our elections!!!.

hmmmm...
Nickolaus said the most significant error occurred when she forgot to save after entering totals from the city of Brookfield, a suburb of Milwaukee.

Kathy Nickolaus in Waukesha forgot to save? Really?
byColdFusion04
............................
It was with great interest that I watched the press conference of Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus. You see, my "day job" is in the field of information technology, and I was tuned in to her every word regarding her use of Microsoft Access to tabulate the county wide vote totals.
..................
Nickolaus says repeatedly that she imported the data into Access, but through a process of "human error", she "forgot to save". Then come the tears, repeatedly, throughout her presser.
Here's the problem. Microsoft Access (any version) doesn't ask you to save. When you enter data into a table, it automatically updates the underlying database. If you close the database accidentally, the data you entered (or imported, in the case of Nickolaus) remains. If you stop to take a phone call from your buddy the governor (for example), your data will still automatically save.
.............................
I entered 10,000 votes for Prosser, and closed the database. No save prompt appeared. I came back in, and there were the 10,000 votes! Thanks Bill Gates! I entered 20,000 votes for Prosser, and did a hard shutdown of my computer. When I booted back up and reopened the file, the 20,000 votes were there! Thanks again Bill Gates!

If I ran the WTS ...
by Simon in... and wanted to disrupt sites like this one and activities of 'apostates' in general, what would i do?.
would i send apologists who were obviously on the side of the wts to spew out the typical wts message, ones that would be quickly labelled and disagreed with?
maybe ... it would get people riled up.

Would I send people to pretend to be legit but really criticize and undermine people who were trying to 'do' something in any way possible? Maybe ... I think that would work really well and either annoy people or put off people from being proactive. Result!
That's certainly a possibility, but to pull it off would require a level of sophistication combined with brainwashing that only the very rare individual can possess.
I'm going to speak plainly - in the recent thread involving Barbara, the person who really caused the trouble was minimus, for having started the thread in the first place. I know Barbara, she can handle herself, but no one, and certainly not this forum, needs what minimus offers when he goes out of his way to dramatize conflict.

Um... well, short of calling Shelby a liar, Six, that is what happened.
Look at what you've done there, tec. You're now claiming that not only is Shelby not experiencing auditory hallucinations (if I remember your past claims correctly) but that Shelby's mind is in fact infallible. Are there any other people you see as infallible, tec?
