Dis/UNITED Kingdom?
by BoogerMan inengland, wales, scotland & n.i.
are independently making or changing the covid 19 lockdown laws/rules to suit themselves... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52600708.
garden centres are opening in wales on monday, in england on wednesday, but by the looks of things, are far too dangerous to open them anytime soon in scotland or n.i.

We all entered lockdown together but restrictions will be lifted at different rates as the factors involved are different for each nation.
The R factor in Scotland is higher thus makes sense to maintain current lockdown restrictions.
I see no issue.

I think the Zoom meetings are enjoyed by the JW's and the GB...I'm seeing my wife attend meetings via Zoom and participate when she barely went to the hall...I'm hearing answers from people who went once in a blue moon...it has galvanized them where people can now be a JW without having to go to meetings or go out on the ministry.
It's a form of a fake religion and is easy to do thus I expect record attendances as an average. Perhaps the GB will adopt this as a permanent solution because they can increase their audience and reach people with ease with their bullshit doctrines.

What is this forum for?
by Kate14 ini'm new.. my first post here asking for a little support was deleted by myself due to the frosty and rude replies i received.
.
i don't actually understand what this forum is for if it is filled with hostile people.. little confused.. why is everyone here?.

We are here because we were once captive to the concept that men in the Governing Body were in Jesus' hands and it was the true religion and we woke up, realized it as shit and now meet here to support one another.
We all have different views about life, religion etc but most on here now all recognize the JW's are not true.
If you have views now that you have left the JW's that are strong be prepared to defend them because we all believed in the JW's without any evidence now most on here require evidence to believe in anything...as it should be.
It's not hostile...it is common sense.

Do the GB leaders of the JWS make its members delusionaly insane ?
by Finkelstein inthis particular question or evaluation of the people who are participating jws has come up before in debate.
the more one deeply analyzes this the answer usually comes up in the affirmative yes.
when you consider the fact that jws members will abandon their own family, go as far as kill themselves under the direction of these men, it really confirms just how deep the mental and conscious indoctrination these men have gone.. .

Captives to a Concept...great book...explains it all....Don Cameron...smart man.
If they are willing to die, kill babies etc without taking blood the answer is obvious.

Naturalism is Dead - Why Are Believers Stuck in the Past?
by Perry insigmund freud, karl marx and charles darwin are considered the pillars of modern western thought.
they differed in many ways but had one thing in commonthey were reductionists who claimed that all higher realms of existence could be explained by lower natural causes.
they were the pillars of naturalism.. but their ideas were tested during the twentieth century and found wanting.

Simon, what is the point of this thread when people are dying who are high risk?
I'm green as I can be but my sister with cancer requires ventilation and I don't give a fuck how that is powered at present.
What really are you getting at? Pointless and insensitive thread.
Not impressed with your posts recently...

Sister Not Sure If She Is 144 000 or Great Crowd
by Awake at last ini haven’t posted here for years as i have now moved on and am satisfied with the choice i have made to leave watchtower.
however in light of the coronavirus and people in australia and other countries being asked to stay at home i became concerned for a witness sister who lives in melbourne alone who is 88 years old.
today i gave her a call as i don’t trust the local witnesses to care for her.
