The name of the new stadium is Lincoln Financial Field.
Lincoln Financial asked us Philly folks to not make any nicknames for the stadium. In true Philly fashion, we have already decided to call it 'The Link' (or 'The Linc').
you have to be kidding me.
the eagles have looked terrible all day, and donovan looks much worse this week than last week.
i don't know why i get my hopes up w/ the flyers, sixers, eagles, and phillies.

so, here are my first round playoff predictions (as if any of you care...lol!
colts 23, jets 15 (the jets had their super bowl vs. the packers).
packers 21, falcons 17 (i have a hunch that atlanta may pull the upset but you can't root against the pack at lambeau).
Sigh....
Once again, I got half right and half wrong.
I don't have much to say except the following person deserves his "props" for picking the right teams to represent in the Super Bowl:
Crownboy.
NameWithheld originally had both picks correct but then changed his mind and picked the Eagles to win.
Everyone else got the picks wrong.
The worst pick goes to Kismet, who is the only one who went 0-2 on this week's picks.

Dag, DIM.
I know what you mean. Same crapola, different year.
McNabb looked horrible as did Andy's play calling.
Go Raiders.

I like all of the interesting observations by all of you. We'll just have to wait an see after tomorrow, won't we?
Here are my picks:
Tennessee at Oakland. The Raiders pimp-slapped the Titans in week 4 this season at Oakland (52-25). Do the Titans still have hand imprints all over their cheeks from that game? Of course they do. Will they be mad and seeking revenge? No doubt, yes! Can they win in 'The Black Hole'. Not on this Sunday. While I think Tennessee is a very good football team, I don't think they will be good enough to beat the Raiders at Oakland. Home field is so important at this stage of the Playoffs that I would definitely pick Tennessee to win if this game was in their home building (plus, it's a revenge game). It's just asking too much to into Oakland and pull out a win. The result?: Oakland 30, Tennessee 20
Tampa Bay at Philadelphia. Tampa, quite simply, is not as good as people perceive. Consider who they've lost to: at Philadelphia, at New Orleans, vs Pittsburgh, and vs New Orleans. These teams finished with a combined 40-23-1 record (.633). The teams they beat (at Baltimore, at Cincinatti, at Atlanta, at Carolina, at Detroit, at Chicago, vs STL, vs CLE vs MIN, vs CAR, vs GB, and vs ATL) have a combined record of 82-108-2 (.432). Did they beat a few good teams? Yes. But they beat Green Bay after GB already peaked for the season. The beat (twice) a Falcons team that is young with (basically) a rookie QB, who has speed and a strong arm but isn't too accurate (yet). Do they have a great defense? Definitely, yes! Did they beat the 49ers in the playoffs? Yup. An overrated Niners team who had a lame-duck head coach. Their record in the cold? 1-21. Philly's "D" will give the Brothers Johnsons (Keyshawn and Brad) fits tomorrow. Both teams will struggle to put points up. Plus, Grammatica is injured (tired leg. Gruden brought in Kickers to try to replace Grammatica). Jurevicious has an ill child at home and his mental state is questionable. Unfortunately for Tampa, the stars aren't lined up in their favor. The result? Philadelphia 19, TB 10
well, i really don't know how to exactly explain this one, or how to ask this question, but i'll do my best.
first, some background information:.
me and my mother got into a religious discussion - something i really enjoy doing.
Hi, nos.
If you think that her "wall" will go up once you start talking to her about it, then perhaps you can go another route. It seems that you at least want to speak your mind and get this off of your chest. Perhaps, then, you could write her a letter. Be candid and frank but try writing it in a manner where she will be apt to read the entire letter.
It's worth a shot.

Hey, minimus.....
Why don't you enlighten us with YOUR feelings on this subject?

in the uk hundreds have been arrested for child por charges.
in one article it is interesting to note the educations level of these sickos: .
british police have arrested 1,300 suspects, including a judge, dentists, doctors, police officers and a deputy school headmaster.. .
kelsey-
Also interesting how many famous people are getting into trouble recently with child porn (the guy from 'The Who', Pee-Wee Herman, and the guy who played the Principal on 'Ferris Buehler's Day Off').
for me the most boring activity is filling out income tax forms.
i find the most boring person is the dali lama.
just looking at him makes me feel bored.
Sitting in solitary confinement on 'death row' for 16 years for a double-homicide that you didn't commit but were falsely imprisoned for.
Not that I would know anything about that.
after watching 'lotr: the two towers' for the second time, i made a wonderful correlation.. .
he was the one who was under a spell from saruman.
he had scales over his eyes and he was merely a puppet (so to speak).
For some reason, when I type 'Theoden' (with an accent mark), it posts as 'Thoden'. That's odd.
Anyway, I didn't realize that Tolkien took many of his ideas from the bible. That's interesting.
I saw it with a JW (Vince McG.). He didn't think it was demonic. LOL.
I'm happy for you and you wifey, by the way!
