i am a policitcal conservative, at least a fiscal conservative and sociel moderate.
i support the death penalty, but i agree that our judicial system needs to overhaul how wwe treat criminals to achieve better rehabilitation results.
and of course, withhold the death penalty in cases where there could be doubt.. in mcveigh's case, i believe that he deserves the death penalty.
Call me an insensitive prick, but I think he got off easy. He and all violent murderers should die slowly at the hands of the surviving family members.
Maybe slowly pulling off his fingernails, then slicing him open to pull out his intestines while he is forced to watch.

i would like to first of all thank everyone that has replied to this thread.
it's been a very interesting read and i couldn't wait to clear up a few things.
i have yet to see a picture do any of those things.
In the first year of my current relationship, I walked into the room and found her kissing another guy. We were having a party and were all drinking alot. They were standing in the doorway. I walked up and slammed the door on her ass knocking her outside. I then locked the door.
Eventualy I forgave her. A few months later, my suspicions of her came back. So I too "invaded" her privacy. I did the exact same thing that you did. I archived her IMs. I found the same thing, you did.
She tried to turn it around on me, and make me out to be the bad guy by "invading" her privacy. Eventualy, I forgave her again and we moved on.
Today, we have the most trusting relationship. I would never snoop into her private areas of life. And she wouldn't cheat.
The point is that by my investigating the matter, we were able to find the problems and deal with them. Had I not looked into it, maybe we wouldn't be together today?
On the other hand, if the man has the stamina to keep his wife satisfied, and continue to look at porn, more power to him

i'm sure you've all noticed that we have grown quite a bit over the last few months and seem to get busier every week with more people joining every day.. while i do my best to read and monitor all the threads on the forum to make sure that no one causes trouble it is becoming very difficult to do this all the time.
with this in mind, i'd like to ask for some volunteers to help keep an eye on things who i will setup with some extra permissions.. i don't intend for the forum to be 'ruled over with an iron fist' or anything like that.

Well said Prisca. I was also a thrid generation JW. I have experienced many things and hope that these experiences could in some way help someone who asks for it.
I've seen so many people that let being an ex-jw take over their life, and I never want to become like that.

When I post here, it's because I feel that I have found a group of real friends that have gone through the same BS that I have. I'm not here to preach.
If someone needs support, or has a question, I do my best to answer and support them. But I have no desire whatsoever to cram stuff down peoples throats. Nothing irritates me more than seeing five posts in a row from one person doing their "preaching work".
