Anyone here into vinyl?
No this is nothing pervy.
I'm in a musical mood today and one of my passions is buying records.
(Not collecting records as I actually buy them to listen to)
I still buy records on vinyl rather than Cd when I can, the packaging is much better and if you have a good record player so is the sound.
It getting hard to find much nowadays in a lot of record stores.
Theres an excellent record shop near me though that stocks a ton of the stuff.Now wheres all my wages gone?

Millions now living will never die:The album
by sleepy injust saw an album by a band called tortoise called "millions now living will never die".i beleive they are from chicago .i've got a few of there other albums but not this one.. would have bought it but i didn't have enought cash.. i wonder if any of them grew up as witnesses?

Why two tests for the "other sheep"?
by sleepy inwhy two tests for the "other sheep"?.
i could never understand the reason why the society believed that those destined to live on earth had to go through two tests.. one at armageddon the other at the end of the thousand year reign of christ.. if they have been tested as to loyalty at armageddon why is a further test needed.if armageddon is not a good enought test for christian why have it at all, why not just have the final test?.
also those suppossed to be gong to heaven don't have an test.the get ressurected as perfect beings without going through armageddon or the final test.does that make sense?.

But that turns armageddon into a filter rather than a test.Sort of straining out some of the bad guys but leaving a few in. But I though God is supposes to be the one chosing the "righteous" ones to survive.If he allows some to survive who could rebel why not leave everyone , if faithfulness hasn't been determined at armageddon why should some be chosen to survive and not others? -

What did you refuse to do in school?
by Moxy inin high school, one friend of mine was offended by flowers for algernon because of the sex bits and refused to take it as part of the english curriculum.
he even gave an experience about it at a ca.
so those of us in the other english classes that year kinda had to refuse to do it too.

Are Demons still roaming the bedrooms at Bethel?
by Tanalyst ina couple decades ago a bro.
tells me an experience that he says i must keep top secret.. one of his roomates (he lived in a 4 man bedroom) at nite while in bed would see this green form in the likeness of a man in the room.
if my memory serves me right, another roomate also saw it, some days later.. so my friend asks all the roomates if any received anything religious from anyone.the 1st guy to report these demons remembered he recently had received a letter with some religious pictures.

Oh yeh I forgot.
I was told ( by several different people from Bethal)that in the British Bethal they bought a house near by, to use as accomodation for Bethlites.
Apparently people saw strange figures in the night and heared voices.
I was told that a box was found in the attic that had books about spells or magic and when they threw them away the strange happening whent away.
The story is probably more fiction than fact. -

I once saw a green shape like a man in my bedroom when on holiday in Rome.
I was having a dream and I was woken up by someone shaking me on the shoulder.
I looked to my side and there was no one there.I then looked ahead and saw the green shape which gradualy disappeared.
At the time I though it was a demon or something like that , but now I think that highly unlikely.
You own body can produce sensations that feel external.I think why mind was in a semi conscious state of sleep and caused an illusion. -

Typo of the weak.

) this friday, and most every friday, compliments of spell-check software (motto: "we never wrest").. this week's 'typo of the weak' is from an old flinkets proposal, discovered in the "naval academy midshipmen's summer job: lawn mowing" file drawer, specifically from the "b-a-a-a-d job" folder.. "our goat is total customer satisfaction.".

If they are resurected as perfect beings why not everyone else who has died, what is special about anionted people that means they don't need testing like everyone else?
If when you die you have been aquited from sin, why, when ressurected are you a sinner again.This time you would have been directly made by God like Adam was.So how could you be imperfect? -

Putting this up again as I though it was very important.
I had belived that peadophiles were no bigger an issue in the Witness organisation than anywhere else.
But it seems that churches are a special target for sexual preditors.
This means that people join religions with the purpose of abusing children.Apparently peadophiles are very cunning and manipulative.
I have heard on the news before how they seek out jobs that involve looking after children and will play along for years in their chosen role , not raising any suspicion.
But for three quarters to belong to churchs seams like a very high figure bigger than those who may be working in child care or other places with children.
Would peadophiles have knowledge that the witnesses are paricularly lax when it comes to protecting children?
Could this make kingdom hall a bigger target for them?
