  i usually dismiss the "drinking the kool aid" scenarios that are posted from time to time, but the latest wt has another bit of fearmongering.

  the quote from page 20, para 17. elders who are reading this article can draw some useful conclusions from the account we have just considered: (1) the most practical step that we can take to prepare for the coming attack of the assyrian is that of strengthening our faith in god and helping our brothers to do the same.

  meh, $20 for it! negative. if youre gonna put it out there to help faders and exjws, dont do it for profit, thats slimey. at least make it affordable!backseatdevil wrote a really reavealing and heartfelt book about the inside of bethel...and put it out FOR FREE.

  for everyone who just suggested:

  'just walk away, why do you care' 'just get out of the cult ' ect..

  i know, id llike too. its not that simple.

  for most of us, our lives are entangled (jobs, housing, ect) with jws. it takes time and careful manuvering to disentangle.

  so tonight finally had to make a decision about the dc.

  we missed saturday and sunday of the one we were assigned to.

  i was going to convieniently try to forget (been working most saturdays last few months) but she persisted tonight.

  i agree with splash, it is not illegal, but it does take advantage of poor r&f with out transparancy. they dont really even know whats up.

  its been one year last month for me since i first googled jws. totally get what you said about that aweful term worldly people and how the whole world opens up once you stop thinking in terms of us vs them. feels amazing.

  thanks for all the suggestions. i definetly dont want to send up any red flags. ive indreased my fading so im getting more attention now (2nd weekend in a row someone has tried to drop in). thinking maybe i should go to a couple meetings so ill be off the radar.
