Blessed Oh Jehovah - Prince to appear on American Idol...

pop superstar prince will reportedly appear on american idol to both coach contestants and perform on the hit tv series - in a bid to maintain high album sales.

the notoriously shy star has just released his latest lp, 3121, which debuted at the top of the us billboard chart.

according to pagesix.com, executives from prince's record company convinced him to appear on the show to keep the album at the top of the charts, after noting a huge spike in album sales when barry manilow appeared on the program earlier this year.

hello again from sunny north carolina!!!.

our state lotto started today, and i won 15 dollars, and only bought 1 $1 card.

so whoop whoop for gambling.. i was in miami florida last week for the photoshop world conference, but i also got to tour the everglades, where i took some beautiful pictures.

I have a question...

Unit 5 (a) where the paragraph starts out "Victims of sexual abuse.."

Are they talking about the victims in the side notes when they say "there is no need to discuss this with others and No group therapy is necessary?" Also on the bottom right about no bad thoughts and turn to Jehovah?..I can't read all of it.Can someone quote the notes for me from the bottom?

Please help, don't want to lose daughter

please help,need some advice.

my daughter married a jw last april without telling us.

i suspect she thought we wouldn't approve.

When I first met the witnesses it was at a small bible study. They all got together and gave me a baby shower.

That pulled me in. I thought what a loving bunch of people. I didn't care what ANYONE said about them. Of course they weren't so well known then.
These were my friends..I too had moved and knew no one..so when they came along..I had instant friends. It sounds like that is happening to your daughter. I don't think she is into doctrine yet.

I would stand my ground in trying to just point out things to give her something to think about but I really don't think she will stop now. Her husband and the witnesses are all she has in her new surroundings.

She probably even has a new Mother figure..at the Kingdom Hall.

My Mother just sat by and waited for me to outgrow it so to speak.I guess she figured if she argued I might go the wrong way. Well it took 13 years and a lot of wasted time . By the time I finally got fed up my mom was too sick to appreciate the fact.

After she died my Dad told me that it had really hurt my Mom deeply that she couldn't celebrate Christmas or Birthday's with the kids as they were growing up.But it was too late.

They were grown up when I left.

I hope things work out better for you..but I bet she already has strong ties to her "New found friends". And unless she makes some worldly friends there..I don't see her leaving. She is the wife and Mommy to be and they can be so convincing that they are her only "True" friends..

Wish I could over some hope..but I know how lonely she probably is at her new place and they just move right in!

Snoozy..Who hopes you can talk and visit her a lot so she doesn't forget who she is.Your Daughter!

Unless the movie had a scene where they were making out in the car with leather and handcuffs..I didn't see the right movie..

I turned it off and watched something else.

It doesn't sound like the same movie..I think it was the porn movie someone else got ahold of..

I think it was on Showtime or HBO or some other movie channel..not a porn channel..although it should have been..

We celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary this week.

like most of you we never did the birthday or christmas thing and so over the years anniversary celebrations were grabbed as a real chance to wrap presents, get festive and party.

this habit has carried on and there's a small mountain of shiny gifts all waiting to be torn open on april 5th.

okay, the kids are bit older now (18, 16 & 12) but we all still make a fuss of this one day.. we'll be going out for a slap up meal tomorrow night, just the 5 of us at our favourite curry house.

The cancer has changed my wife

we found out that she has pancreatic cancer that has spread to the liver and blood vessels.

she opted for chemo.

although we have good insurance, we still have to pay quite a bit towards the $17000.00 bill every three weeks for treatment.

I am so sorry for what you and your wife are going through. My heart aches for you. I went through the same thing 3 years ago with hubby. He had lung cancer that spread to his liver. After that they couldn't give him any more chemo. They can't seem to treat it successfully in the liver as it grows so fast there.(Unless they can catch it in the very early stages). He had a very aggressive cancer so it spread very quickly..the only thing that sent us to the Dr was he turned yellow from jaundice. The ironic part was the chemo was shrinking the tumor in his lung but the liver tumors wouldn't respond to the chemo and kept spreading. He lasted 5 months after he was diagnosed. It was hard..very hard. The only advice I can give you is to have some help so you can get some rest. If you have to hire a nurse for nightime..or have one of the kids come over so you can get some rest. I was so tired from 24 hour duty that I fell down and ripped a tendon in my knee.I just layed there crying until the pain died down. It hurt so bad I had to use a cane.Hubby was so out of it he never noticed. I was just so tired I was getting clumsy. Now I wish I had demanded help from the kids!..They worked but could have taken time off. I could have had more quality time with him if I had had more help. Please feel free to E Mail me if you want to talk. I have been through it all. Sometimes just sharing what you are going through and knowing someone else felt the same pain helps..

i mean, i come on this website, looking for the more intelligent conversations, the more interesting topics, things that are not just fluff... these things that compel me to think, react and of course, respond... lately nothing has made me want to respond.... i mean dont get me wrong, i love my fluff here and there, but i mean, why is it all fluff now???

where has all the intelligent convo gone???

or am i just missing something?.
