  Tornados in Mass., Missouri, Alabama. At least the people in Mass. had health insurance.

  you see all those people affected by these terrrible storms.. it makes you think that thanks to mitt romney's statewide health care plan, at least the people in mass.

  were better off when they had to go to the hospital than the folks in the south.. rub a dub.

  We have an abundance of Drs here is Missouri. You can get in the same day to see a specialist if you shop around..
  My daughter in Illinois had to wait almost a month to see a specialist..go figure!

  Not sure if my memory is correct but it sees like years ago insurance didn't cover any "natural disasters"..like tornados or floods..If lightning struck your house that was a act of God's..not covered..if your house burned down and it was because you were negligent, you weren't covered..insurance was a lot cheaper then..

  I remember an insurance agent telling me years that I wasn't covered for flood insurance and I had to get flood insurance to be covered..

  And it certainly didn't cover the sewer backing up in your house...

  Annoying JW Vegan....

  my co-worker is a vegan and jw constantly talks about how healthy she is...blah, blah, blah....all day long and she's getting on my last nerve.

  she's always posting how meat is murder on facebook and how all meat eaters are sooo uneducated.

  funny since she dropped out of home schooling and never recieved her ged.

  I don't think many become vegans because of the meat itself but the stuff they are putting in it!

  I admire many that choose to not eat meat and do their homework..they are able to find substitute meals to serve that are still healthy. That takes work and unlimited reading. (To do it right).

  I still eat meat but only 2 or 3 times a week tops..

  And I try to stay with lean cuts..

  "Cemetery Witnessing" on Memorial Day

  i've been wondering if this is just something that's done in my area, or if people do it all over.. every year on memorial day, a lot of people meet for fs and then when they break into groups, they all discuss which cemeteries they are going to "work".

  every major cemetery in the city is divvied up.

  the idea is, they take a stack of small tracts (usually the what hope for dead loved ones) and they basically park the car in the cemetery and walk around handing them out to the mourners.

  Well as much bad stuff we have to say about the religion I have to say that when my mom died my dad was feeling pretty bad. A old witness friend came up to him and told him he would see her again some day..he brightened up.
  Truth or not she made him feel better and for that I was grateful..will he see Mom again ..didn't matter at that point. He believed it and that's what counted at the time.
  She gave him a glimmer of hope.

  For that I was grateful..

  For all their known false teachings I reject them, for the things no one knows for sure..who's to judge?.

  Wow, this may explain a problem I have. I too almost drowned one time. We had a sailboat and I was guiding hubby into our stall. The water was dark and deep.

  I missed the dock and went straight down, and down, and down. I didn't think I would ever touch bottom..and I didn't think I would survive much longer..I fought for my life and the whole time no one on top had any idea what was going on..
  I started waving my hands in a downward motion to break my falling deeper..the water was so dark you couldn't see anything. I finally hit bottom and pushed with all my might and started going up slowly..I prayed I would keep going till I reached the top as I couldn't see the top in the dark water....I knew how to swim but was helpless in this situation. I finally got to the top gasping for air and hubby pulled me out..I wore a lifejacket from then on..I will not go in water over my head now..and I am sure it is because of that experience..even tho I am a good swimmer..I also do the same thing as you in a dentist chair now..

  how is this done, without one's doctor's authorization?

  Well CC the drug has a good write up so it must be a good drug..(unlike Plavix) they say the headache will eventually stop..just hang in there..

  our neighbourhood has seen a debate erupt in the local schools in our area.

  of all things, the fundys want to stop an anti-bullying program that the schools are attempting to initiate.

  in response to an article in the paper, i wrote a rebuttal.

  That's the answer I always get when asking them about the child abuse issue.."The brothers aren't perfect"..god will judge their hearts..duh!

  About the comment on Jesus and Jehovah not being one..how do we know?
  The JW's have barinwashed so many you almost have to start all over again and wash all you have been told by them out of your brain..

  CC just wanted to ask if you got headaches from the Aggrenox..? I read almost half of people going on it get a severe headache at first.

  I also looked it up in my insurance book and they are both a class 2 drug which means they are probably close in price..bummer..
