We are sooo thankful for Jehoeber and his Org that he can't help us but the world can.

WTB&TS And The Lawyers They Employ.
by smiddy3 ini have been thinking about the legal departments that look after the wts interests around the world.i can`t believe these legal eagles offer their services on a voluntary basis like the r&f do.and i don`t believe their services would come cheap.. as an organization the size of jw.org and its offshoots of companys and interests around the world ,the cost of keeping them gainfully employed must amount to a considerable sum of money.. especially the law suits against them with child abuse court cases that arise on a regular basis ,and the government inquiry`s into the jw religion that is happening in different countries now.. all paid for by the voluntary contributions that come from the r&f for the worldwide preaching work .. contributions to pay for the wt organization`s legal department to defend themselves in court ?.
did jesus and the apostles pay lawyers to defend them in a court of law with funds donated by their supporters ?.

Do Jw's Dress up in meeting clothes for Zoom meetings?
by jeremiah18:5-10 ini am just curious if anyone knows whether the "friends" still are required to wear "meeting clothes" for attending meetings through zoom?
such emphasis on dressing in a godly manner over the decades, would be interesting if some attend in pajamas or their work clothes, no makeup, etc....

My brother who waste his life with these damn meets dresses just from the top to the waist. What no six pack of beer to get thru the bullshit. I know if I had to zoom on to those meets I would dress the way I want and have my beer.

What to do with old publications
by TonyMorronTheTurd inhi guys,.
it's been a while since i posted here, but i feel like posting again.. it's hard sometimes to find the energy to post here after i expend all my time working a full time job and pretending i care about the wt$ at the same time.. i've been trying to slowly wake my girlfriend up ever since i first posted here, and i must say it is a long waiting game that i am playing right now.
almost all my efforts are dismissed and i've been slowly losing hope.. anyways, what i meant to really post here today is about old publications.. honestly anything that has to do with the watchtower and jdubs, as of recently makes me feel like vomiting.

How service is being conducted with the zoom meetings
by newsheep ina friend of ours who is married to a jw said that this morning for service everyone who was on zoom got to do a call while the rest listened in on the call.
there were thirty-one this morning listening in on one who would call someone to preach to.
shouldn't the person they are calling on be warned first that there will be so many listening in on their phone call from the zoom meeting.

If I would get one of those calls, I would start asking questions about their connection to the UN and the ARC and child abuse. Like I use to do when they use to wake me up on Saturday. I would just ask them a bunch of embarrassing questions. They would leave and never come back. Do the same on the phone, they would get worn out and will never call again.

Is there a WT - Aspergers Connection?
by Sea Breeze inso after much research, i'm convinced that my dad and both my older brothers have aspergers.
they can come across as jerks at times especially when their guard is down.
however, they can hide it extremely well when they want to, with pointed effort.

I found most of the higher ups in watchtowerland have to be a little off mentality or something to believe and follow Wt nonsense. I know for myself after much discovery you have to be a few gallons short to trust this stuff.

Weekly Meeting Importance Being Reduced - Your Thoughts?
by JWTom ini am pimo, but now have 40+ years of being a jw as i was raised in a 3rd generation family of witnesses and continue to fake my way through things - fading as i can.. for the vast majority of my time as a jw, the meetings were the central focus for all jws to get teaching, association, information and so on.
nothing was more important than being at the meetings!
over the last 20 years starting with the elimination of the weekly book study in homes and continuing down to today - my opinion is that the value/purpose of the weekly meetings continues to be diluted or minimized.

Thoughts on a WT Reformation
by Fr.RAS ini posted what follows elsewhere but thought it might be of interest here as well.
my forst posting here so i apologize in advance if this is not in the correct place.. a tribute to ray franz (on what would have been his 98th birthday) and to ed dunlap, his collaborator.
last week would have marked the 98th birthday of a man for whom most of us here have high regard.

The Org of the 70's of Ray's days has become so watered down. Any JW now you ask a question directs you to JWilly.Org not like the years when I was in when you would find or answer any question. A question that gets them to think they pack up and never call again.

Education vs JW?
by galaxia_moon ini am 15 years old and recently just doubting this whole religion that was introduced to me when i was very small from a very good family friend.
doubt obviously comes with shame and guilt and i hate those feelings because it feels like i'm betraying this whole organization that i grew up in.... anyways, i've been doing research and found that jehovah's witnesses dislike/shun kids who attend colleges & universities that are more than 4 years long?
have you heard of this?

I had the same thing when I grew up in "Truth". I wanted to go to college for a two year program and was strongly discouraged by the elders and parents that was more concern with their position in the cong. Mean while brother elder's son was able to go to college. Go figure that one? You may have to wait till your on your own or take classes online. Fake it to make it to sort of speak till you can get in position to take on school. Or tell them that Bethel needs Doctors and lawyers too.
