  i have been doing some research on the condition add/adhd and came across a list of names of people who have this condition.

  this runs in my family and only recently have i been diagnosed with this , which was a real eye opener, and if only i had known about this as a child some things would have been more easily understood by my parents.

  i have two children with this condition, and for the time being, have decided agaisnt medication for them.

  Dede,

  Where did you find the info on all the famous ADD people??? Docs and drugs can be such a frustrating thing. I know I am not feeling quite as good as I was a couple of weeks ago, and my doc is suggesting I may want to try some new drug, Strattera I think it is called, when it comes out in a couple of weeks. I don't think I want to be a post test trials guinea pig. I know I have very mixed feelings about meds as well as the pharmaceutical industry. And I can be so easily convinced to try this drug or that drug, this approach or that approach. It gets very overwhelming I know.

  Thanks for sharing some of your research and I am open to looking at any websites you may come across if you are open to sharing.

  That is the problem with forums. It is hard to get tongue in cheek over successfully. I thought it was very humorous. My grandaughter was here this morning and was in the room with me while I was trying to respond to your thread. She was in one of her demanding moods. 3 year old girls can be that way. Thanks for the laughs

  While we are on the subject, does anyone remember Bill Cosby's Noah/Ark sketch. A classic if I've ever heard one.

  well kids, it is about that time.

  i just saw my first post for this year's memorial.. so i thought i would let you all know my plans and see if anyone else is interested.. last year, just to be hypocritical, i partook of emblems at home.

  this year, i plan to be front and center at my local kingdumb hall partaking.. i do plan to polish off all the wine in the glass, and perhaps munch a few crackers.. anybody else up for memorial misadventures?
