  Faded then apostate?

  if someone has faded so they are not known as a jw for a few years there is no need to be disfellowshiped or announced that they are no longer a jw.. so they wouldn’t need to be shunned the same way as if they did a hard exit like writing a letter or something.. so if evidence arose that such a faded person was sinning there still would be no need to announce that they were no longer a jw the same as if they were known as a jw.

  family members and members of the congregation would not shun them?.

  what would happen if such a faded person became apostate?

  My wife comes from a large family multi generational JWs. For years any weddings or funerals far more of the latter in the family of recent years, there have been two groups. The ex JWs or those never been in, and the ones still currently in.

  we always sat in the group still in, but I guess next time we will sit in the group who are out. I don’t know any of them but it will be interesting to see if those still in will talk to us.

  last meetings we went to we’re just before covid even though my wife sometimes joined zoom without a camera early on we have not been back at all since then.

  We sometimes get calls from members of the cong but nobody has asked us the obvious questions yet.

  I will not answer any questions and I will not let any elders try to interrupt of fade.

  Let’s review the facts:-

  There have been very serious accusations made against him by more than one individual. Saying he should not be allowed near children.

  They are going to huge efforts to remove him from every picture and video.

  They bought two homes near each other and he is living in one of them until he dies. What the other is for is unknown.

  these are all facts.

  what is not known yet but good questions to ask are:-

  is he involved with the Pensilvania investigation and if so is he being set up as the fall guy, maybe the evil slave that was prophesied to arise in the time of the end?

  is he still anointed claiming to be an angel that will slaughter 8 Billion men women and children very very soon. Yes he did claim this and with joy he was looking forward to it. Does he still claim this along with the remaining members of the governing body?

  My wife and I have faded there is no doubt about it now. We are not being shunned and as far as old friends in the congregation think of us as just inactive publishers.

  dreading the time elders have to do the rounds on all the inactive ones on their lists because I Will refuse to talk to them

  what would happen if such a faded person became apostate? Would this change anything? Even years later after not being I known as a JW would this change things so that there would be an announcement and then they would actually be shunned?

  Greenlees, Chapman and Chitty

  so after being rudely awakened by a cat fight outside (it's 3am here in the uk) and then proceeding to go outside to rescue my cats from the neighbourhood tom....... i'm now laying wide awake trying to make sense of jw "truth".

  (it's all my mind does these days, the lights gone on and won't turn off).

  anyway i found myself reading about the gb and came across these fellows , greenlees, chapman and chitty.

  Ewart Chitty - born c. 1898, died about 1993, must have lived into his mid-nineties. He was moved back to London Mill Hill congregation. Some older ones who are still in Mill Hill from that time still remember him today. Apparently he still took the emblems right upto his death in 1993 as there were quite a few taking them in the Bethel infirmary in the 1990s they all went to Mill Hill congregation.

  As a popular song has it - Only the Good Die Young !

  The big question is now that Tony has had a couple of houses bought for him, will he live out his days as a brother in a congregation like Chitty did? If so he would have to still take the emblems as that’s the policy once anointed you can’t go back to being other sheep.

  But these accusations are extremely serious far more so than Chitty, Greenlees or Jarez accusations. This time the word torture was used in accusations against Tony Morris 3rd. Also the accusation was made that he should not be allowed near children.

  So there have been at least four GB members removed for various child sexual molestation reasons everyone except for Franz was some kind of suspected sexual perversion. Chitty was accused of sexual activity with a young teenage brother as were all the other members of the GB (ecespt Franz) who were removed including Tony Morris who has now been accused of sexual deviance even including the word torture this time.

  Leo Greenlees Was said to have molested at least one 10 year old boy. So was removed from the governing body.
  

  Other members of the GB have also had accusations including Br Jarez who was quickly moved away from the area where he was accused of sexual deviance with a young brother. But he stayed GB until he died.

  I guess the saying is true power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  Vidiot I was talking about from a legal point of view.

  Look at Randy Prince Andy and his involvement with Epstein, throw enough money at the problem and you don’t go to jail.

  but from the point of view of what people think it just shows your guilty.
