  even elders can be part of the new jw lite brigade these days.

  they don’t need to go on door to door anymore and there is no requirement for anything really.. taking meeting parts is all dead easy you could turn up on the day with zero preparation because it’s all in the meeting workbook.. quarterly elders meetings are just old men having a good old natter just like old men do down the pub.. congregations could be likened to pubs or bars these days just without the drinks, those come at other times.. no need for territory maps, these almost went away with covid letter writing now they are extremely slow getting finished as those who still go door to door only do ten mins.. you could even voice your questions these days about things the gb say and then just say “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”.

  i predict they will say this about 1914 soon..

  So we can all agree the GB are very very wrong about some things.

  This reinforces the new JWLITE idea.

  Get the good things about being physically in. Stay mentally out. Give a tick every month that you talked about the Bible to someone at least once a month but never do door to door anymore unless you want to do ten mins once a blue moon.

  Go to meetings in person occasionally if you feel like it as it’s cheaper than going to the pub. Keep going to all the social gatherings and join zoom meetings and ministry groups in your pyjama bottoms and slippers with a nice cuppa.

  Most importantly ignore all of what the GB say. Openly tell people that the GB are not inspired and they do get things wrong. Quote the GB “we should not be dogmatic we just don’t know”

  The entire pint of JWLITE is you take what you like and I gone what you don’t.

  this AGM says you can repent last min if you were wrong.

  As long as you get more out of JWLITE than you put into it then it’s well worth it.

  Some fantastic folks in the congregation and having the basic principles of the Bible makes life even better.

  this new lite version means you

  rake what you like and leave what you don’t like. Basically ignore the GB, this is the lint of JWLITE😁👏

  Here is a thought what if this new JWLITE is by design so that many exJWs come back? Even many on here say ok this new JWLITE is ok as long as we can quote the GB “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”

  you don’t shun anyone you don’t want to. You live by Bible standards but you decide and you take everything the GB say with a pinch of salt

  how are there qualified legal professionals in congregations?

  did some come into the cong after they qualified? Very unlikely.

  so they must have gone against direction to get qualified?

  my grandmother, an immigrant from austria, was.

  two of my aunts, their husbands, both elders, various cousins and two of my sisters are witnesses.

  so is my grand uncle.

  I can explain this. There is direction in the secret elders book about prioritising those at the heart of the congregation. If they are Ill or infirm then are they still doing their very best to be at the heart of the cong?

  those on the outskirts or just hanging around the outside barely get very little attention until they come back to being properly in the cong again

  He wishes he could retire to Thailand like loads of divorced lonely old men. But the problem is they have to work a proper job for long enough to take early retirement then they can live a good life over there on a tiny pension

  Lloyd hasn’t worked much of his life certainly not since he left JWs. He had an easy ride to start with with lots of support for his YT channel but now he has blown it by being the biggest advert for not leaving JWs because look what a mess you make of your life like Lloyd has.

  He could branch out from ex Jw stuff to reviewing the best places in Thailand for gentleman’s clubs ect. Yes there are YT channels for divorced lonely western men who like Lloyd go dating sex workers in countries like Thailand because that’s all they can get.

  There is such a mix of people on here. Some ex JDubs are now evolutionists and some believe Jesus is God.

  It just shows the Bible can be interpreted in many different ways.
