maybe it's just me, but i remember a lot of meetings where the talk was getting boring, so I'd imagine myself jumping over chairs and decking the speaker, or doing obscene things with some of the ladies there around my age anything to liven things up a bit
If only we were allowed to hang out with kids at school! Not drug-dealers...but there was a lot of nice kids at school whose houses I never got to visit because of the silly dubs.

is it unusual for a jw to allow their children to go on school class trips to washington d.c.?
because of their beliefs, i would think going to d.c. on a class trip would be a no-no.
day trips were fine, overnight trips weren't ok...at least till I was 16/17 (doesn't that seem backwards to you?), dances weren't ok. about washington dc, I was allowed to go, and I had a great time. When I came back and told my mom about all the great stuff we saw and how we got to sit in on a senate meeting, and how it was a fun trip, she gave me the typical jw talk about politics and blah blah blah....what a way to ruin a conversation with your kid.
i was reading a judicial meeting transcript last night on the inet and the accussed had added vasectomies to the list of procedures that are frowned upon, or forbidden, by the wts.
is this true?.

I wanted to know what books you've used in addition to the Bible of course that have helped you to know so much and be able to refute the ideas of the dubs so well. I also would like to know if anyone could help direct me towards your story, since I'm very interested in reading it and any other posts you've made here that you feel are significant. yea, xenu.net is a great resource. I would also recommend checking out the media section of the page for some good realmedia movies. If you want to see how much of jerks their leaders are, listen to these mp3s of (former?) president heber jentzsch...they'll make you laugh till you cry. I've never heard anyone yell "YOU!" in such a strong way....that's what they got for talking about his mother :)
