so last weekend was my last district convention.
i plan on breaking the news to my wife real soon.
nowadays even at the meetings my blood pressure raises and my back gets all tense as i sit and listen to some of the stuff we are supposed to believe.
The speaker said, "Some people have even gone so far as to make comments like, 'You'll never have to grow up in this system, Armageddon will be here by then.'
Uh, let's see, "some people" would be J.F. Rutherford, Nathan Knorr, and Fred Franz, I suppose.

the first time that i met simon, he was wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the word "apostate".

well, i'm going to be baptized in less than a month and i was wondering if i can find any friends among my peers or anyone around my age.
you see, my congregation was split up almost three years ago.

notice what it says about most members being under the age of 25. also, it refers the conventions as being family events.

i guess this is my introductory post.. like many of you, i was raised as a witness.. like many of you, i'm no longer associated with them.. it still hangs over me like a plague.
it's really annoying.
i haven't been to a meeting in 4 years, i'm "out of the closet" - my parents know i'm no longer interested, my oldest brother won't talk to me... etc.
