  hello... i've been away from here for awhile, and probably will not be getting very involved here again, but some things have got me wondering lately.

  i don't know if you know's still around, but, if so, i have a couple of questions.. you know: correct me if i'm wrong, but i seem to remember your saying that you'd read ray franz' book "crisis of conscience.

  " i'm not going to debate the propriety of your doing so, as one of jehovah's witnesses, but i'm very interested in what you think of his reasoning on various points.

  i am having a very difficult time and i am here right now because i know in my heart, that when i explain what has just happened to me a few minutes ago, you will understand.

  many of you are no doubt going through the same thing.. within several posts here, i have spoken of my mother.

  my dear sweet mother, who just turned 78, and who has been a faithful jw since 1959. she abandoned me in 1981, when i decided to leave the borg, and for twelve years she did not speak to me, write to me, call me, or visit me.

  chronology: i am 50. was born and raised a jw, reg pub @ 6, baptized @ 10, reg pio (b4 hs graduation) and giving public talks @ 17, went to bethel @ 18, left bethel @ 20, married (1st time) @ 21, df'd @ 29, divorced @ 30, reinstated @ 30, remarried @ 32, df'd again @ 48, divorced again @ 49. one heck of a roller-coaster, eh?.

  from time to time i watch two or three little boys, the sons of a young woman i know.

  i did again 2 days ago, as she needed to go to the mall with a friend for back-to-school shopping.
