  How will the WT spin China???

  i read an article this morning on how china is quickly reaching even footing with the united states in all aspects; military, economic etc.

  the article continued saying how it was imperative that the united states recognize that it would be forced to behave accordingly or risk ddestabilizing the world.

  another interesting statement was made that sooner rather than later the u.s. would become the 2nd largest economy falling behind china.

  my jw friend of 20 years, the first one i ever met, the one who got me into jwism in the first place, unfriended me from facebook without explanation.

  other jws who have unfriended me at least called me names (apostate) and told me they were unfriending me, but they were no loss.

  but someone who's been your friend since you were 13...and no explanation...i'd think 20 years- 20 years!

  Never been shunned by someone due to religious matter. But my best friend of 18 years shunned me because I gave her an honest advice/opinion that she does like to hear about a guy she knew in the internet for a few months. So called friendship huh?

  1. i wasn't inside the committee meeting and i don't know what was said or what you were accused of.

  being a fair-minded and loving person i've decided to ignore the secret nature of those proceedings and simply accept blindly that you are in the wrong without hearing your side of it.

  because i'm loyal to the governing body and to no one else.. 2. to save myself the embarassment of having to exercise my own conscience i'm going to ignore you and your plea for fairness and empathy.

  Wake up every morning and take a walk outside, breathing some fresh air.. Look at those trees, flowers, (I don't know where you stay) but look at those small and insignificant things, you'll feel better.

  You are here for a reason, you are good and valuable, even if you feel like no one loves you, there one person who can always love you.. YOU!

  the roman catholic church (rcc) religious leaders wear ridiculous clothing.. wts elders wear ridiculous cheap suits.. .

  one can wear a beard and still be a priest in the rcc.. one can wear a beard in the wts, but never be an elder with one.

  I have a question for born agains and jws. When Jesus ask Jehovah to forgive the men who killed him are they in heaven?

  this question gets people defensive because they have to question they own belief system.

  born agains and jws always claim to follow the bible 100% but when this question comes up i always get silence from both groups.

  because in the bible jesus says whatever he ask the father i will be granted.

  The 'Trinity' that JWs have been taught, is not taught by Trinitarians, or their favourite whipping boy the Catholic Church, and is not The Trinity at all, it is Modalism.

  The JW teaches that Trinity = God the Father and Jesus are the same person. But the truth about the definition of Trinity is, God the Father is not Jesus, but of the same nature, ie the Godhead. They even got the definition of Trinity wrong. Correct me if I am wrong about this (JW version of Trinity).

  It is just like your kid did something to hurt you but you, out of love, hope that they will not have to face death penalty for what they did. The people who killed Jesus were still alive when they killed Jesus, Jesus hoped they would repent & believe, thus, forgiven. It is not the act of killing that gained them salvation on the spot but their repentance and belief later. In other word, He asked and hoped for a second chance for these people.

  i'm new here but have been lurking here for a couple of months.

  i am 3rd gen born in but have been inactive for a few years but always had the intention to make another go of the truth, but not now that i know ttatt.

  i became inactive due to the inhumane treatment from family members who are elders.
