I read just this week that the chi rho symbol was used in the margin of a text to mark that particular passage as 'good'.

Early Christian Symbols - Modern JW symbol
by moomanchu inour visit to rome and tour guides taught me a little about these symbols.. it made me realized how ignorant i was about to them.
of course the reason i was so ignorant about them is that they are demonized by the wtbs.. since a lot of these symbols are simply letters of jesus's name, it struck me how the jw.org letters symbol is good, .
but the letters symbol for jesus is bad!.

My parents didn't take the vax, Dad is an elder, and neither did some of the other elders and their families.
Trust in the GB is selective, but they don't see how odd that looks when they go along with practically everything else. I can't understand it myself.
I think they just kept very quiet about their non compliance, made no waves in the cong.
That same cong had a guest speaker earlier this year comparing the vax to Jesus' ransom sacrifice and those refusing the vax are like those refusing Jesus' sacrifice, oh the irony!

i thought i would share it here if anyone is so inclined to write one.
for those with pimi jw family and jw business connections, it may not be wise to share such a letter, but i imagine it must be very freeing to send such a letter.

You're right of course, we don't have the full story. What I was thinking though was that if he was going to meetings, had applied to be reinstated and presumably stopped doing whatever it was that got him disfellowshipped, then by Christian standards of forgiveness and mercy, he should have been allowed back in. After all, elders, despite what they like to pretend, cannot read the heart nor do they have the authority to judge people for life or death. In this regard, they have overstepped into Christ's domain.

I agree with Joe, I raised this subject with my pimi family including the GB man lying under oath and their sudden change of doctrine as to who the fds is.
The pimis sweep it all aside with excuses. I was a bit gobsmacked by the ' well we always knew that not every single anointed person writes articles for the literature '. That's not what it's about! Aaargh! For my own sanity I can't raise these concerns with them anymore.
I have to remind myself of "there's great relief when you stop banging your head against the wall '.

i have long wondered about the connection between the medical/pharmaceutical industry's symbol of the serpent wrapped around a pole/stake, and the use of the word pharmaceuticals/pharmacy.. considering the common use of fluoride in public drinking water, nsaids with side effects such as depression, brain fog, dizziness, and opioids, mrna gene therapy, vaccines and so on, i wonder am i going mad, are these all coincidences??
