i went to my first peace rally and march tonight.
it was incredible.
at one time there were probably 350 of us all joined in solidarity.
The beauty of this Country is freedom of speech. But you would think we as fellow Americans would join together and support our troops and our president at this time. This goes to show you how callous as a nation we have become to let something as important as this divide our nation. This is what truly makes me sad

a lot of us can have different opinions about going war... some can support it... other can protest it... and thats what freedom of speech is all about.
but there's a threshold and we're past that threshold... we're at war.
so no matter what your opinions were before or even now no one can change the fact that we are at war and that won't change no matter how much those that oppose it try.
I think this is a wonderful Idea email. Our troops need all the support they can get.

i saw a fight break out on the platform between an elder and a unbelieving husband who accused the elder of f---ing his wife.
he then threw the lectern on the floor and pushed the elder.
it was cool.......
The most interesting thing that ever happend at my Hall was when I about 9 years old this man ( who was a baptized witness generally a passive quiet man) comes raging into the hall with 2 huge trash bags filled with Watchtowers screaming at the top of his lungs that he No longer wants this in his house and does not want him or his family apart of this cult. They had to get 5 or 6 brothers to escort him out of the hall he was kicking and screaming all the way out. I remember I thought that was a really cool thing to happen.

my mother called me last night an begged me to go to the meeting tomarrow.
she has asked me to go numerous times during the last year,and i have made excuses everytime of why i can't attend.
last night she begged so i'm thinking that theres either a local needs talk that she wants me to hear or its the co visit.
Liquidsky I know exactly how you feel. My Mom called me Saturday and asked me to go to Memorial I didn't give her a straight answer and she told me that even if my husband didn't go she would come and drag me to memorial with her. I also know if I don't go she will use my relationship with my minor sister to get back at me. It is a hard situation that I too have yet to come to grips with Liquidsky and don't know if we ever truly can. I too want to tell my mom I am only going to please her but I just cannot find the words to do so. I know to them it wouldn't matter what reason you were going as long as you were going. I am sorry you have to go through this at list you have this board of people that are here to support you. (((((((((((((liquidsky))))))))))))))

my old best friend in the truth is talking to me again, and it bothers me.
she was really mean to me when i was dfed and now she started to talk to me again because she misses me, but i feel bad cuz obviously im dfed and although i don't feel like i'm spiritually bad for what i am, i cannot be myself around her because i feel odd.. its like the last attachment to that bastard religion keeps hanging on!
You should be happy she wants to talk to you. I lost my best friend of 13 years. I miss her alot and wish we could be friends again. Just be yourself around her and if she is a true friend she will accept you.

OMG was Charles being voted out totally unexpected or what? I did think he gave a great performance last not but it sure as hell was better than Corey's and I did not think it was bottom 3 material. I felt Carmen should have been in the bottom 3. And I really wanted Corey to go is gone from bad to worse. Well next week ought to be interesting.

Treynece is one of my fav's she is beautiful and can sing. I thought she looked awsome last night. Great body for that dress. I do not like Kimberly Locke talk about someone that just bugs. And I felt that dress was all wrong for her. IMHO she is too large to wear something that tight fitting.

being here almost everyday, we get to know each other and often friendships start from this forum.
we get to know who we like and dislike.
some friendships here are better than in actual life.. does it frustrate you to know that 99% of the people here, you will never see?.
I have not met alot of people from this board but I do hope to get to meet some of them soon. I have really enjoyed chatting with people here and they all seem very nice. I would love to meet each and every one of you. It is kind of odd feeling so close to people you have never met. I feel like I have a better friendship with some of these people (you know who you are) than friends I see on a regular basis because they know what I am going through and can relate to situations I have been through. I really love everyone here and thank you Simon for this great site.
