  when people are super bubbly/friendly/cheery, or constantly smiling ear-to-ear when the situation doesn't call for it, i immediately suspect they are either phonies, trying to sell me something, or suffering from bipolar mania.

  that is not really very fair of me, but that's what springs to mind.. i hate nervous giggling too.

  it completely grates on my nerves.

  I guess I listened less than I realized when I used to be involved. That scripture really hits me now as I look into the WT's past. If they didn't print so much there wouldn't be so much ammunition to shoot them down.

  As far as loss of consortium goes, it would have been alot less expensive to buy her a solid gold dildo. I hope the whole thing it overturned. It's ridiculous. How is being under the influence now a factor for hitting something in the road? To be honest, I feel sorry for the poor pig.

  first of all, if anyone is offended by the photos, then i will ask this topic to be removed.

  i am posting the photos because i get sad sometimes about people being forgotten who tried so hard, even though they were wrong.

  the cemetery is pretty easy to find, if you have any interest in finding it.

  I share your experience with the Creation book. When it first came out, as an MS I was assigned to give a public talk about a portion of it. I can't say I discovered the misquotes on my own as you did, but when I did learn about it I was furious.

  My own journey progressed much like yours. One thing I can't say is that it was overcome with fear. I wanted to tell the world, but quickly discovered they (the JW's in my world) did NOT want to hear any of it, and if they did listen they could care less, or even said they couldn't see how those quotes were misleading. That was probably the most shocking of all to hear my parents say that.

  Everytime I hear of an experience such as yours and the inablility to go back, I immediately think about the movie "The Truman Show" or the Wizard of Oz. Once you've seen behind the curtain how could you possibly return to it? Like you said, you can't.

  Hopefully you will overcome your fear and your husband will join you. I have been lucky in that I have not gotten a label, but unlucky that my wife is still in.
