I have watched threads on 607 that he posts on for some time, and I have always been tempted to ask if anyone on this board agrees with him, or is swayed by his argument. following is the first installment of my recollections and notes on bethel.

My buddy said 34 Orange was a residence away from the others. I think it was an apartment with 3 bedrooms. He knew of one guy from CA that left Bethel and still stayed in NY, living at 34 Orange.

bro albert d schroeder died at 10:30 am new york time today at brooklyn bethel...he was 94 yrs old.. he was born on april 7, 1911 in saginaw, michigan and entered bethel service in 1932. he was appointed a member of the governing body on december 18, 1974. bro schroeder's life story appeared in the march 1, '88 wt pages 10-17: entitled: "my life in jehovah's spirit-directed organization.".
i don't know if the "today" means it was actually today...as i can't be sure when my friend received this news... but anyway, another of the old guys bites the dust.. .
My ex-bethelite buddy said he remembered Schroeder using the word "great" for emphasis. He said if he was talking about creation, he would refer to Jehovah as "the GREAT Architect" or if talking about the body, Jehovah was "the GREAT Physician".
A little off topic, but does anyone know there is any specific place where the GB gets buried? My folks thought they had a plot up by Walkill somewhere. (Sorry for asking this after it had just been asked, I got distracted by the artwork on the clowns!!)
i would like to state firstly that i in no way intend to offend anyone.. its just when i was in the org i had major problems with the blood issue/death because of persecution.

personally, it makes no difference to me if the ark is found or not.
if it truly exists, then it would be one of the largest finds of the millenium.
However the piles of cack thang is a diversion as most boats have been used to transport livestock and it would no doubt have been eaten by millions of bugs in the meantime.

He pretended to be a man of compassion and understanding, but was treacherously far from it. My basic memory of him is that he was puffed up with his own self-importance. He walked around the place as if he were some sort of army commander or prince among men.
The time that I met him, this is what I remember too.

If it was found, and the floor is still intact and was covered with sh*t that could be traced to animals, I would have to reevaluate things. But the floor would have to be covered, and I mean covered, otherwise it may not be the real McCoy as JH questioned.

The question should be why some people are so desperate to find proof of something they already believe that they will eagerly accept the flimsiest suggestions of supportings evidence.
