  Need Opinions -- Engaged to a JW!!

  ok, quick run down of my situation.. .

  1. i am not religious.

  my now-fiance was raised jw but left the religion about 10 years ago.. 2. we started dating last march, i got pregnant within two weeks.

  Welcome JB.

  If you can get him to open up his mind and see his religion as the sham that it is, you have hope. If you can't do that, then leave, or you will only have regrets. Do you really want to be married to someone who will let your child die before giving him life saving blood?

  Also, why should he wait until after the marriage in order to get baptized? If he really thinks is the truth, why hold back? You have a right to see how his marriage to the religion might impact your relationship before you commit. He wants it both ways.

  I can rembember being told by the elders not to clap when someone was reinstated. Talk about awkward silence!

  Yeah right, they are going to throw a big party when they return. I have NEVER seen that before.

  Convention without a 'Badge'

  i attended a convention recently but didn't wear a badge i was treated with the utmost suspicion.

  particularly when i arrived during the sessions one day.

  the attendant didn't want me wandering off to find a seat on my own.

  1) Grow a long beard

  2) Show up at next years convention wearing a leasure suit with a convention badge from 1974.

  3) Bring a green bible and pink song book.

  4) Tell everyone that you have been in a coma since 1974, just woke up and was wondering if the end is still coming in 1975?

  5) Ask if Fred Franz will be the guest speaker?

  Just go by the lost and found and pick one up.

  What I always thought was weird, was when people wore their badges after the convention when they went out to eat and such. I never did that.

  Books Missing From Libraries

  does anyone know if it's wt policy to exclude certain volumes of watchtower/awake magazines or other literature from the kingdom hall libraries?.

  i was doing some research to confirm some of what i've seen online but many key publications are missing from the kh library.. other stuff i checked for was completely different from what's shown on scans and images from jwfacts.org and other sites..

  In the last congregation that I attended, they had the JW year book for every year on the shelf, except for the year they pandered to Adolf Hitler. I think it was 1931 or 1932. It struck me as odd, because I was looking just for that year so I could read the comments for myself.

  How many letters do you thing the WTS has received with questions about the WTS association with the United Nations NGO organization?

  How many JWs have left the orgnization or have been stumbled by the WTS association with the UN?

  If there was ever a QFR that should be answered, this would be it!

  Yet, nothing! It's a sham for sure.
