Oh Damn...I have been sprung!
by stuckinarut2 ini knew it could happen one day...yet i was so careful..... sitting at the sound cabinet, i had our awesome forum open on my tablet, and didn't see the microphone brother looking over at me...... he wandered over and asked me "whats that site?".
i quickly responded "oh, i googled to get to our jw.org site, and this must have popped up" while quickly closing it.... he didn't look too fussed, but my heart was beating..... he is pretty chilled out and certainly not an "uber-dub"...but this was a wake up call to be more careful...i am fading fast, but don't want anymore attention from the nazi-elders while doing so!.

My mother was much like that when she was alive. She once told my children's neice that she should not get to attached to my babies, because they might not be there in the new system.
The really sad thing is, I don't even miss her, not even a tiny bit.

but the moon turning to blood is specific to a total lunar eclipse.

by cofty inone time, i heard a father in a meeting with married couples say `i sometimes have to smack my children a bit, but never in the face so as to not humiliate them.how beautiful!
he knows the sense of dignity!
he has to punish them but does it justly and moves on.

My parents kept a belt hanging over the thermostat in the main hall as constant visual reminder of what you might get if..... Back then it was normal to spank children.
The concept of time-out was not known at least not in our house. When we used time out concept with my young grandchildren I was amazed how well it works.
No need to spank.

Using the tv.jw.org as a wake up tool with my kids
by konceptual99 inso, i have been badgered recently to do some kind of family study by my wife.
thanks to tv.jw.org i now have a really easy tool to use that not only passes this time but actually makes them question the organisation.. our sessions skipping through the delights of the monthly broadcast have been very interesting.

I think the GB members better served themselves and the organization as a whole by remaining the shadowy figure behind the curtain.
All the JWs falling all over them at district conventions has gone to their heads. The more they talk, the more JWs have to realize what asshats and bafoons they are.
I hope the more exposure they get on JW.TV will only undermine their authority with the rank and file.
