  Reduction in Pio Hours & New Message?

  hello all,.

  i have heard over the last couple of weeks , from 2 different sources that the pioneer hours are to be reduced to 60, this has come from uk bethel sources, but not seen anything posted here about that here... also that the new wt for the witnesses contans an article that gives 3 new points of 'revised light'... any ideas what these are about?.

  i have also had lots of fun recently, questioning people on what the scripture mean whan it says .. do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together, even more so as you behold gods day drawing near... in view of the recent book study stuff....

  SHOW ME DA MONEY!!!!

  i always like to come back here and see those who are still in (but faking it, like me), those who are about to be out, and angry, those who are out and angry, and those who are out but sanguine (sp?

  anyway.. despite all the undoubted and unargauble arguments about the wbts i just think its funny when y'all talk about the watchtower people being in it for the money...honestly, the bethel people, the elders (i know quite a few in the us and uk bethels), honestly, have you seen, their houses (if they have them), or their cars, or their suits, or their watches, or their shoes?

  ) even the branch people and the gb, honestly, these guys are not in it for the money, for the security maybe, a distasteful realisation many years ago that they have chosen the wrong path, that maybe they should have gone to university after all, but are stuck working as postmen (or overseers of packaging depts)..

  SHOW ME THE MONEY!

  i am an active (but leftfield) jw, who visits here periodically, one of the things that i have never understood is certain posters assertions that the wtbts is a money making scheme.. i was just wondering where these people think the money goes, has anyone here ever seen as ostentatious elder (in full time service) or gb member, or anyone who relies on the wtbts for their income with a rolex on?.

  i havent, any elders or cos i have met with wealth are from their careers before going full time....all these people who quote the society's $1bn turnover seem to think some people are asking it in, if you do the math $1bn split between 6m supporters is really not much at all.... allll i would say is, show me the money :).

  so now in the space of a few short months television programmes on national networks in the us, uk, canada and australia.

  we see regular newspaper articles and radio phone ins on the subject.
