there has been no official HQ edict on FB, anything that states rule is personal local opinion of COs or Elders, most direction has been directed towards how minors interact with social media, but yes from my experience and feedback the less progressive elders do jump on this subject as they dont really understand it.

15 year old dies after family turns down blood tranfusion
by looloo inits just been on the news in birmingham , uk on saturday morning while on the ministry he was run over by a car and needed a transfusion , his family refused and he has died , what a waste , what a wicked religion !.

for goodness sakes don't make this poor boys death a lame excuse to knock WTBTS policy, he didn't die because of a lack of blood transfusion (which UK courts will enforce on minors if there is medical case) he died because he was crushed against a wall by a car.

Why doesn't the WT just make a statement of MJ's standing with them?
by purplesofa ini just heard mention on the news of jw's again pertaining to burial etc concerning mj.. i have heard and read more jw stuff in the media since his death than ever in the media.. why not just come out and make a statement where mj stood with the organization?.

Why would the WT make a statement on an x-member (albeit hi-profile) who publicly left the organisation 20 years ago? Can you imagine Presbytarians, or 7th day adventists, saying Mr x just died, 20 years ago he used to be of our faith, but he left 20 yers ago? I dont think so, thats even if you ignore the privacy that is supposed to exist between clergy and congregation..

maybe because the WTBS isnt a business (by any common or sensible definition?) and as such doesnt have customers, it is merely a religion that recognises it has overheads so tries to get like minded people to fund its overheads, or maybe i am stupid and miss the whole money making thing going on (see this weeks TMS on false humility, i am actually not that un-clever)

I am calling BS on this, i just think that most of this is nonsense, give me specific congregations that were threatened with non-delivery, (in th UK that is I cant check out congs in other counties, i know no people in bethel there), who who were issued with invoices for literature, beofore i get the info and wont believe it, there is so much weak , vaugue info on this thread it is not worth believing.... but kinda fun to gossip about nontheless

Reduction in Pio Hours & New Message?

i have heard over the last couple of weeks , from 2 different sources that the pioneer hours are to be reduced to 60, this has come from uk bethel sources, but not seen anything posted here about that here... also that the new wt for the witnesses contans an article that gives 3 new points of 'revised light'... any ideas what these are about?.
i have also had lots of fun recently, questioning people on what the scripture mean whan it says .. do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together, even more so as you behold gods day drawing near... in view of the recent book study stuff....
