  The JWs believe that Jesus is "a god" (note the use of lower case), not The Almighty God. Since the Bible says he is in a god's form.

  Also you said:

  So suppose I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe God raised him from the dead and then go out and kill someone. Will I still be saved? Because many people fit your criteria: "confess with your mouth Jesus is LOrd & believe in your heart God raised him from the dead".

  Is that all I have to do, because that seems a little bit too easy dontcha think? Many, many horrible people fit your criteria. How many have killed in the name of God? Should not good works be included in your criteria to be saved or do you believe once saved always saved?

  planning a "tropical vacation".....

  husband, jim) and i are planning on getting away to some sort of tropical island soon and i am getting overwhelmed with all the different places to go!

  ok, here's my question.

  how do you go from being a jw to being a whatever (methodist, lutheran, etc.

  ) i've been invited to go to many churches with friends, but, i have no desire to ever set foot in any church.

  I've wondered the same thing myself. As JW's we were taught all of the things that were wrong with other religions, so I can't see how others could join them. I just keep telling myself that if there is a God then he can read our hearts and he'll know that we are good people.

  I don't think that I could ever be a part of organized religion. Even a non-denominational church seems like too much.

  Sorry I don't mean to be picking on you but you said:

  I don't know where you will go when you die

  You say this but you were pretty sure I was going to Hell before, because you said this earlier:

  my GOD and my bible says that the only way to GOD is though JESUS CHRIST, HIS son. Those who do not accept Jesus as there Lord and Savior and let it be known publicly will not have a home in Heaven. SO, my beliefs are that if you do not accept Jesus and if you are not a Christian then you have a home in Hell.

  So since I do not "accept Jesus and if [I am] not a Christian" then I fit your criteria therefore in your eyes I have "a home in Hell."
