Satanus, they still have not worked out the "Super-Authorities" with our Romanian friends. My OP is to demonstrate the hipocrisy, not to attack what they do with their homes and property. Our COBE has a sin sniffing snout the size of a French Truffle hunting pig, and he is the most dishonest man I know, but is the greatest fault finder second to Satan.

JWs need to understand many of their "holy ones" are not following Jesus Christ, the Apostle John, Paul, Peter and Jude's letters. Some of the "rentals" are fire hazzards, others have fumes coming in from the main car garage (carbon monoxide), some are infested with roaches and mice the land-lords don't pay to have removed. No insulation or heaters during the winter or "air" during the Summer.

What a holy organization they have?

DOC, the Mexico example is very common here, brothers head to Mexico for alternative cancer treatments, using old 1970s Leprosy drugs illegal by the FDA. There is a great abundance of wisdom with a multitude of counselors, great wisdom on JWN as usual!

It's best to hide something like medical mary jane, and not broadcast with huge clouds of smoke :)

I know Jehovah's Witnesses who cheated on their taxes, or avoided paying them at all. The same men disfellowshiped brothers and sisters for sins of equivalent value, if that's what you would call them?

Jehovah's Witnesses are great at buidling "rentals" in their garage, their homes (illegal additions), being dishonest by lying how big their homes are,(to avoid paying school taxes, you claim your home is 300 sq ft smaller) I know Witnesses who don't add the rents they get for the "Shanty Town" garage rentals, onto their income tax, and the Holy Spirit does not remove them from being a Elder, why?

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses have the greatest sense of entitlement with "hand outs", but don't want to work to make Caesar's Kingdom a better place to live in? Is this just a problem in California where Witnesses have no problem building rentals the "State Code Enforcement" has never ok'ed?

We are not allowed to build "fire places" in certain areas, but Witness Contractors would put them in once the Code Lady cleared the final inspection.

Jehovah's Witnesses with "Low Income Homes", build attachments with two or three cheap rentals, it's as illegal as Hell, yet they remain in good standing or Jehovah would have thrown them out of his clean organization? Too many cheaters my friends! Low Income Housing is for people to live in, not to lie to get the home and rent it out for triple your house payment!

My mother passed away this morning...

for any old-school ex-jws here that remember my many posts about my abusive jw mother and my sister committing suicide because of it...she passed away this morning because she began to bleed out and refused a transfusion.

she had been in the hospital for a month.

it appears she suffered a stroke and wasn't found by the brothers & sisters for three days (they missed her at the meetings).

Sorry Tatiana for your loss, even though your mother was messed up it's still hard to accept their gone for good.

Why are rabid-JWs so stupid they destroy their alllies (your niece who checked up on your Mother) and put their trust in fellow members who could care less once the elderly are unable to perform services for the Congregation. Your story reflects what is deeply wrong with the Organization, all resources are spent to further the top cult members, meanwhile we allow the ancient die-hard Witnesses to decay in resthomes without visits, leading to a death that could have been prevented.

Thank you for sharing your story so "lurkering members" can ponder the lack of love, selfishness and abuse that goes hand-and-hand with Watchtower Land.

they are new to the congregation since i left in 2002/3.. they were offering a dvd for deaf people to 'learn what god requires of me".

i said there were no deaf people here.. the other guy that was just standing there asked if there were deaf people in this area.

We used the phone-book technique during my stint with a Asian group. The Internet, phone book and asking neighboors helped create a map of potential Asian recruits- residents? The same goes with the Hindi,Tamil, Cantonese, Mandarin- Chinese, French, Portuguese and Arabic groups.

JWs need a new "brother Knorr to reorganize their society, they are hurting with incompent record keeping!

Remember that most JWs are not putting in a full hearted effort, they don't return on "calls" they generated in their foriegn field. Often members of the the desired demographic are happy to talk, wanting a free chance to learn English. I found most Filipinos were excellent with English and Spanish, while others speaking Asian languages wanted Dubs to return so they could practice their English.

Northern California has a wide group of cultures, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, China, India (Five languages), Arabic ect....

in part of the video mentioned above showing the "goofus" elder trying to handle the situation with the crying sister:.

the "goofus" elder went into the kingdom hall library alone with the sister when she left the auditorium.. you could hear literal, audible, gasps from the 100 or so elders watching the video.. a few moments later, as the sister was crying, "goofus" put out his hand and touched the sister's hand.. again, literal, loud, audible gasps from the audience.. they darkened the room while the video was playing so i couldn't see him, but i have to imagine the co was quite pleased that the audience grasped the "mistakes" that elder goofus was making.. .

@Londo111: I want to add one point, I do appreciate your kind nature you post on JWN. With that said, I was seriously discombulated when he when "Playa" told me, "You will not be seeing me anymore!", he stopped going to JCs after the first meeting. It's been over twenty years brother "playa" has been MIA, I can't find him because I think he does not want to be found.

I tried to look him up on Facebook and "People Finder" to reconnect, I was not a huge "hater" and cheated by talking with "the untouchables" frequently. Brother "playa" had issues "disfellowshiping/ excommunication" never solves, just adds more burdens unto the backs of those needing serious help, I think of great men like Tiger Woods, X-files star David D. "Agent Moulder" with serious addictions of sexual activity.

There's a psychology thought, that people who suffered "near death experience" fear death excessisivly", will use sex as a method of "reaffirmation of life". We ran across self-made "elder psychotherapist", imagine "brother goober" thinking he is the next Dr. Alfred Adler (Family Therapy Pioneer in psychology) giving out shit advice, it's unfair the Society loads us up with problems, but never have we been through any decent training sessions.

Christendom has seminars lasting two weeks or more, where their Ministers are trained in various shepherding techniques, JW Elders don't get this kind of education or resource investment. We are trained to avoid overly problematic brothers and sisters, and rarely elders recommend psychiatrists or psychologist or social workers to help our depressed souls.

You are not allowed to ask the Governing Body why this change was needed to the Awake Magazine, because "all questions have been answered" according to the updated KM on Bible questions.

Ray Franz called these circus clowns "Bible Twisting Acrobats", now if all would pile into a giant circus cannon we could aim toward Mars and send them off!
