Peace to you Stauros, good username! I have my beliefs and our good friends on JWN have plenty of fun ways to help you put those beliefs to the test. Please sit back and enjoy the ride, it's mostly smooth with good people who are honest and enjoy helping others out. We might hit a few bumps in the road, but it's better than sitting back on a Bus Stop Bench waiting for the Watchtower to come pick you up(I have yet to see the Tower Members come seeking out many MIAs after they leave for any duration of time.)!! Never take anything personal here, we are all human beings trying to sort out the madness and commonality of being a JW and how it affected our mind and heart and soul! Good Day!

Why elders' wives are such gossipers...
by Calebs Airplane ini have a theory as to why elders' wives gossip so much.
i believe a big part of it has to do with the conversation running dry (between themselves and their elder husbands) after so many years of marriage.
since they don't get to spend too much "quality time" together (because of the elder husband's hamster wheel schedule), when they do have some intimate time alone, the elder's wives will invaribly attempt to engage their husbands in any kind of interchange.

Sometimes with all the poisonous gossip, it's hard to forget all the genuine loving Christian elder's wives who were a good influence on the congregations. I am guilty of not qualifying my posts by adding remarks that wonderful women exist, existed who did not spread gossip or quelshed it like fine examples of Blondie and all the beautiful women on JWN and those who still remain in the Congregation and refuse to hear the miasma.
Constantly we are/were told how great the JW Elders and Elderettes are and their example we need to follow! I know everyone heard this barrage of proganda repeatedly from the platform, meetings and Convention parts. Accordingly with great responsibility, they are put under a heavy scrutiny because Jesus said "Much would be demanded from those in charge!"
To all the good women who were a incredible asset for the Congregation, thank you for not giving in to the poisonous filth and standing up to your counterpart elderettes by killing gossip and lies at the source!

Who is creating the most chaos and trouble in most JW Congregations? I can tell you it's the bad elders, bad MS and bad pioneers and bad rank-and-filers who push the sheep out of the Congregation. This creates the momentum for the sheep to find a reason why their Congregation is acting so self-righteous and pharisee like. Next stop, the Internet where a process of discovery takes place, the fader now finds out they have a common and shared experience with these falsely labled Apostates or other Faders who left the Organization for a reason of conscience. Next, the Apostate is a Boogey Man the Tower is trying to blame for all the Faders and others who leave when they see this is not the Truth! Propaganda at it's best, just like the brochure Rutherford made for Hilter, the Organization has attacked Jews and they did kiss up to Hilter to get a foot-hold in Germany and they lie about this too!
The gross lack of love and vile gossiping with hateful speech has many people looking on the internet for answers to see if JWs have the Christian teachings of the First few centuries. They are covering their own ass by making excuses for their loss of members, they won't admit it's their incompetence and acting like the Shepherds of Ephfriam who sheered the sheep and stayed drunk while the wolves plundered the Master's belongings.
As long as the GB and Bethel Speakers can travel all around the World, we don't have to worry about taking care of the sheep or putting money into a better teaching program to make the elders more competent instead of robots who are not allowed to think, they just read their own tele-prompter!

Blondie, thank you for another fine article. In your opinion, why does the Organization use Jesus Christ name so little and focus on the ancient Jewish Religion and Old Testament figures? Are the stories about the Early Christians too scary because they were focused on good deeds, minging with men of all nations and religions to share the Good News? Titus had to preach in Crete and we both know how scary that place was, the Jews were said to have shown up and taught the Creteans how to be really wicked. What is it with the Old Testament focus and avoidance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

JW family made contact....
by LouBelle in.....after 8 years of us being disfellowshipped.
the made contact through my aunt who is still 'in' - as in she has faded but is not disfellowshipped and will pop to a meeting now and again - she does this for my grans' sake.. the contact was from my aunt and uncle (he's an elder) these were the 2 witnesses used against me in my judicial case.
they contacted my aunt and said to forward the message onto us.

I love blondie's gift and wisdom and how she knows all the rules and regulations of the Organization and their procedures, she has more wisdom and Bible knowledge than 99% of theElder-men I met in the Organization. Harry Mac, I am commenting on your post below and the "brotherly love" is elusive and if it did exist at one time it is long gone! I remember sitting with two of my cousins shaking our heads as we heard "Jehovah's Witnesses are the most loving people on Earth!" We both looked at each other and said "No they are not!". I was 15 years old when we said that, now after serving this Beast for decades I can say there is only a limited application of love and if you leave the Organization their wrath will come at your with the most toxic hateful speech ever! In their words against Apostates, they come under their own judgement, according to Revelation 2:1-10 Jesus Christ is pleased his congregation rejected false apostles who taught unBiblical things. So what is a enabler, the GB say's enablers don't know what they are doing but the fact is they know what they are doing and often do their actions for fear of making the drug addict or power hungry religious leaders angry and hateful!
Here is a article about "enablers" in Psychology Today, read through and think about the actions the GB and his followers have taken to control every aspect of a JWs life, demanding "affection (when they don't give it), financial support (when they don't provide any emotional or mental health help when members need it), loyalty (they are not loyal if you do not obey their every request and demand of your spirit!) and their Self-Centered nature does not permit the JW (any way to share their own feelings, it only matters what the GB say and if you don't like it, they will retaliate against you and your family with gossip and excommunication if you don't obey, that's abuse!)
Which members of the GB have lived in a Slum house for a decade or did their tour in prison in a Third World Country for rules they make but do not apply? The brothers and sisters in Eritrea and Burundi and other hostile anti-Christian countries would teach these men humility, so why don't they go to a country like that and sit in prison for a few years instead of their Ivory Watchtower looking down on the World eating their soft-serve ice cream?

What the speak said about enablers is not correct in the world of psychology or modern thinking. Most enablers know they are contributing to the actions of the drug addict, drinker or compuslive gambler and they are afraid or fearful of the consequences of disagreeing with their highly controlling and manipulative partner.
Many JWs are enablers or co-dependants with the Watchtower Organization, they know many of the sayings of the Org are not Biblical, Christian or Humane yet they fear retribution by remaining silent to a horrible judical committee action taken, speak up when something they hear from the platform is anti-Christ and freeze up when their COs or DOs speak insane conscience and spiritual binding words leaving them in shackles.

Billy I would love a T-Shirt made of your Symposium plus another one saying "2014, 100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF CHRIST COMING INTO POWER!", something that's not obvious to the simpleton elders.
If I had a T-Shirt printed with the 2014 Logo, some elder would stop me when I see him and say "Hey, what's up with your shirt?" and I would say "I am happy we are closer to Jesus Christ Kingdom, the Generation has hit 100 years old and we must share this impending doom with the World!"
