ah... sitting here again.... hearing mind numbing parts about "the ministry" and how to do more etc.... hearing supposed "real life experiences" about stuff that supposedly happened out " in service" .....all exaggerated, cos i was with this person and i can tell you that what they are relating never happened like this at all!.

ok, so i have the bible highlights talk this week.. exodus 1-4 i think?.

i would love to drop a thought provoking comment into my talk... any suggestions?.

so far i have been thinking of showing how violent god was to the egyptians.

You ask what's wrong with doing this?

Well, apart from the hypocrisy, and that's a pretty big matter to start with, it's a total waste of time.

Do you think that with your cleverly planted and thoroughly disguised apostate ideas you will wake a few of the congregation up? You won't.

You are preaching to this forum, not to those in your congregation.

If you really wanted to have the chance of waking a few up you would step down from your positions at the hall and withdraw from doing any talks. It's called fading.

Its a tough thing to fade while you're standing on the platform in front of the whole congregation, showing off.

i'm just wanting an update of those involved.

i particularly want to know what happened to those 2 elders.are they still elders.

i have been a witness for a long time and still serve as an elder.

there have been a lot of changes to deal with in the last six months or so since i stumbled on this site due to questions i had about all the recent changes in understanding published in the wt.

many posters here talk about a cult personality and a real personality.
