2001 for me, too. wow.....i just found out..........anyways, this was a GREAT place to get me through some really tough times and i'll always remember it with fondness.

Funny/strange things you ate as a kid.
by IP_SEC inok i'll start.. 13 y/o or so.. once it rained for a month straight.
we had an old dry tank dump in the back that filled up with water.
there were tons of frogs that showed up and started breeding.. i was looking at them on the edge of the water through my .22 scope.

ate sour grass, grain that we fed the horse......it smelled wonderful........dried dog food.......white paste at school........it had a semi sweet minty flavor........lol

rat poison..........which earned me a pumped out stomach and a night in hospital
poison sumac berries.......all us kids ate them and nothing happened.........
my guy said they used to take Johnny Roaches to the drivein to eat instead of buying popcorn.........i guess they are small fish and they fry them, add salt and put them in a bag............

I was flabbergasted after reading that information..........of course, as usual, none of it seemed to bother the somnolent others in the congo i was in.........in my opinion, it made a HUGE difference that Russell was NOT the originator......at first, I tried to justify that behavior, but, honestly, it made me look at him in a different light.........after being taught that he had special information from God and was a prophet........another reason why i'm where i am and the others are still sitting in their seats drooling at the KH.

Thanks, but I got about all I needed of that from the WT.
i hear ya, james, but, remember, numerology PRECEDED the WTS by thousands and thousands of years.........they just twisted it to support their own agenda. totally different from what true numerology is about. to my thinking why throw the baby out with the bath water?

Forty seems to have many meanings associated with it; especially religious. Many important events in history are linked to 40.
It is the number of probation; trial; initiation; death.
As an elevation of four it is wholeness and totality.
The importance of the "forty days" probably comes from the Babylonian forty days' disappearance of the Pleiades, a period of rains, storms, floods and dangers. The return of the Pleiades was a time of rejoicing and a bundle of forty reeds was burned for the forty days of evil power.
The Roman "quarantine" kept ships isolated for forty days in the harbor.
Temples in Persia, Baalbec, Tartary, those of the Druids and the Temple of Ezekiel, had forty pillars.
Bible: Jesus spent forty days in the desert being tempted by the devil.
There are forty days to Lent, from which were from those forty days in the wilderness.
There are forty of the resurrection, from Easter to Ascension.
The are forty days to privileged sanctuary, and forty days to St. Swithin's weather.

don't feel too bad, chris, i think it's just human nature to question when something horrifying like Kennedy's assassination happens. I, too, have always been a big Kennedy buff.....actually Jackie was my interest. I actually remember seeing the funeral on TV..........I remember the riderless horse with the boots turned backwards in the stirrups.....I think the horse's name was Black Jack. He was used for all presidential funerals. I remember the caisson with the flag draped coffin, and I remember John John at the grave site. I think I was only six or seven.
