i am so confused about this guy that i have been secretly talking to on the phone and secretly going to his apartment(only at nighttime).
he is a jw, ofcourse--if he wasn't i'm sure i would not have this confusion.
he flirts with me,touches me an chance he gets(on the shoulder or the knee) and i know he likes me more than friendship(or maybe he doesn't, who knows?).
RHW hit the nail on the head............you all need to run as fast and as far away from these guys as possible.............MOTHER will ALWAYS WIN!!!!!! Plus, they are probably all f'd up emotionally! Trust me when I say this, I was in the Tower for 25 years, you can do better than these guys!

apparently, in some kingdom halls, various brothers on regional building committees are studying indoor.

as i told you guys, meeting attendance is being affected by the growing number of witnesses complaining.
I remember a situation locally, around 5 years ago, in which a sister and her hubby had to leave the cong. because of the newly built hall's materials.
That happened in our Cong! They were a wierd pioneer couple.........had very sensitive consciences, very hard line............she became very ill and they diagnosed her with fibromyalgia. Then we built a new KH and they had to go to another cong. which didn't last long because she got so sensitized to everything that she had to stay home with shades and drapes pulled.........she couldn't even go out during the day in the sun................if anyone wanted to go see her, they had to wash themselves and their clothing in a special detergent......a list of choices were given to sisters interested in doing that.............it was the wierdest thing anyone in our cong. had ever heard! Of course, there was the usual speculating going on "was she REALLY ill or was it all just made up?" Lots of unkind things were said by some................<sigh>...........I'm soooo glad I'm no longer part of that narrow mindedness and judgemental attitude.
i'm absolutely stunned by this.. a bunch of girls - well, 30-somethings anyway - down the pub have admitted to rubbing hemorrhoid cream around their eyes so as to look younger.. apparently, the salve's shrinking properties is great to reduce eye-bags and crows feet better than anything on the market.
it's also extremely cheap compared to facial creams.. anusol rules!.

Mobbie, I know exactly how you must be feeling now, because 4 years ago, I decided to end my 20 year marriage to an elder......altho, I was NOT an unbeliever. In fact, he got involved with the dubs thru me and my sister, when we were all young teenagers. We basically grew up together. When I hit 40, I just realized that I was not happy and that I needed to make drastic changes.........looking back on it, I'm pretty amazed that I was able to do it and have grown so much personally from being out and on my own. I am happy now. I have a guy in my life who is a "worldly" guy, and he and I have a wonderful relationship. We both agree to disagree about religion. It will be very painful to do this, as you probably are aware, but, it sounds like you are in alot of pain staying in the situation. You won't regret the decision you are making. It just won't get any better with him starting to get back involved with the Dubs. As you know from posting here, we were all miserable when we were Dubs and wouldn't wish that on our worst enemies!

2 elders came to my door today, at noon sharp, and i opened the door to let them in.
they didn't want to come in, so they stood at the door and asked me, "what's stopping you from coming to the hall"?
they only come once a year and always around christmas time.
"BECAUSE YOU WON'T ALLOW ANY WOMAN TO HAVE BALLS. I HAVE BALLS."
Then I'd say:
"BELIEVE ME, YOU DON'T WANT ME TO COME TO YOUR KINGDOM HALL"
Or, maybe I'd say:
"CUZ I DON'T KISS ASSES ANYMORE"

on reflection of a few of the recent threads about the past year, and the ensuing one i had pause to think about some of my priorities in life.
y'know family is always family, and that has to be the closest bond - right up there with life-partner (but you get to choose the latter .
below (and currently my avatar) is a pic of my eldest nephew, taken about a year ago.. frankly i don't know what i'd do if anything happened to him.
Shore an begorrah (don't laugh at my horrible Scottish/Irish/whatever the hell it is....accent!) as alike as two peas in the peapod! Nice picture! Striking eyes.........like the beard.............hmmmm.............

I didn't see the program, but I've read about the Magis and astrology alot..........glad to hear that they had a good show on it..........so many people knock astrology without researching it first. If you wanna still knock it after you've researched it, go on ahead, but, give it a chance to stand on its own scientific merits. What if we all kept the same mindset about airflight, or going to the moon being an impossibility.............well, sorry, sorta took off on a rant there............ Bottom line, keep an open mind those of you who have negative things to say about astrology. (not intending the present company)
