Another Year Gone By.....
by Sunspot inafter 30 long, sad, disappointing and frustrating years in the wts, i wrote my letter of disassociation on october 11,1999. i had been reading the posts on the old h2o forum for a year, and had discovered, to my horror, how cleverly and how badly i had been duped and deceived by this organization.
it took a year of research and indecision to come to the conclusion that i would be far better off without the delusional leaders telling how to take every step in my life.. i had a few awful months of feeling very lost and quite alone, but with time, more research and common sense prevailing, i began to breathe again.
thankfully, i never lost my faith in jesus, and that faith grew, blossomed and flourished as i began to know who he really was.

NO SIGNS OF CANCER!
by Sunspot ini had the last in a series of tests and scans today and the verdict is that there are no signs of recurring cancer showing up!
needless to say, the day was very long (as has been this entire week) and i am still quite tired out.....but i am so relieved and so grateful that the healing hand of my precious savior has touched me once again.
he has blessed me.. thank you all for your loving prayers and your good wishes that have been so encouraging to me along the way.

Slumdog Millionaire
by Sunspot inthis movie was apparently loved by a lot of regular movie-goers and critics alike.
kelly ripa raved about it on the "live" show, and said it seeing it was a life-altering (or maybe she said life-changing) experience.
either way..... i saw it ....and it left me cold!

How Life Can Change
by Sunspot ini don't come by here very often any more (trying to wean myself away from this board in anticipation of when we cannot ever post any more.
in the last couple of years, and leaving this mess in jesus' hands, things have not only begun to emerge as "fixable", but have most definetely been fixed at long last.
i was invited to the youngest grandchild's (of this son) sweet 16 birthday party last summer and i teared up when i realized that this was the first birthday party of all three of these grandchildren that i had attended.. we have been invited to thanksgiving dinner ( for the fourth year) with our whole family and that of my dil's family (she is one of seven) and to spend a few days at christmas at another son's home.

Great Strides Have been Made!
by Sunspot insince i last posted here, some wonderful blessings have come my way!
my oldest son who i shunned in 1981 and who has since cut me out of his life....has finally "come around" and we are making some real headway towards being in each other's lives again.
he has restored an old 1933 ford jalopy and asked me if i wanted to go for a ride in it with him!

Gal With Inoperable Cancer
by Sunspot ini have been scouring through the older posts looking for info on that gal that had inoperable cancer and the last i saw....she had gone to florida and the space center, etc complete with pictures we saw posted on here.
i have forgotten her screen name and cannot seem to find anything on her, how she is doing---if she died---or what.. does anyone know who i am thinking about and what can you share on what has happened to her?.
(sorry, this is what i get for not keeping up with things here.).

What Craft Or Hobby Keeps YOU busy?
by Sunspot inas long as i can recall, i have always had at least three craft or needlework "projects" going at one time!
i have had a few "unproductive years" due to two strokes that affected my right side and the use of my fingers.
i tried a few things and then put them down in desperation.. recently i picked up a crochet hook again determined to figure out a way to get things working again.....and it is slow and very awkward but i can still crochet!.
