The original Zelda games on NES were awesome, Ocarina of Time on N64 was good as well. Goldeneye on N64 was the best thing going at the time, so many hours spent playing that as a teenager, now I play MW3 online if i want to shoot things. Because of Goldeneye on 64 I still can only play first person shooters with legacy control styles.
I recently downloaded the original Mortal Kombat series and Steet Fighter 2 for Xbox. Mariokart on SNES was good and is good fun on wii, Metroid was good, even if Samus was a girl. . . . . The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim is a good game, kinda like the old Zelda games. No legacy control style option though, so it is a bit of struggle for me to play it.

i knew it was going to be a bizzare one just reading it, but the comments at the meeting took it even further.
i can't post all the crazy ones, but in summary what they were saying was:.
I overindulged on alcoholic beverages (WT speak for getting pissed) on Saturday evening and didn't receive any of this spiritual food that was prepared by the Slave at my meeting on Sunday. After last weeks WT gave permission for me to have sex with my wife I had an exhausting week.
when i was a witness i used to think that the wt's interpretation of ezekiel daniel and revelation was quite didactic and intellectually robust.. then i left and started reading the works of real christian theologians and scholars.
i was amazed at how superficial and vacuous the watchtower theology was in comparison.. since i have left it would seem the standard of scholarly insight has dropped to a new low.
i am sure that this is because for generations the message has been, "don't go to college...." and a culture of mediocrity dominates, resulting in an uneducated leadership creating doctrine.
What about the 'pioneer school' or the 'theocratic ministry school'. This type of divine education is vastly superior to a worldly education.
JWs have this view about the 'education' they receive. They like to brag when they have some illiterate bible study who comes into the truth and learns to read at a 5th grade level and starts giving talks on the school. "Isn't it marvelous the way Jehovah educates his people!". Jws honestly think The GB is just amazing with it's depth of research and use of language, some call them celebrated scholars.

) to band together to let the world know how corrupt and destructive the wt cult is.
i think there are some hard facts about this particular cult that make combatting it so frustrating:.
I think no.4 is a big one. This is the glue that holds the org together. They try and pretend it is love but really it is the shunning and ostracizing of ex members and anyone who disagrees.
I would say the majority that leave stay quiet and keep their opinions to themselves to try and avoid this harsh treatment from loved ones. How many do we see here that still go along or try and get a 'clean fade' for this reason?

my philosophy when i was a teenager :"those who admit to it are stupid ,those who deny it are liars" that was my response to peers who posed such a subject when i was a teen .now, being a mature aged person i think this subject could do with a bit more enlightened content.. i am a male so i can`t speak for the females ,who, i hope will give their input on this topic for discussion.and i mean it as a serious discussion.. males experience erections from the time they are babies and the natural thing to do is to hold it , and before you know it fondling it gives you releif.. society doesnt help by making you feel guilty and like shit as a dirty person.why in the world do babes ,young children ,young boys get erections before they even know what it`s function is for.
if a god designed sex for procreation then surely this wouldnt become an issue until they reached the age of puberty ,not when a male is still a baby.. and getting back to my op nowhere in the bible does it talk about masturbation which surely has been going on since adam was a boy/man.. i`m sorry, but to deny that you would have to be a complete idiot ,imbecile ,fool ,or just brain dead.. so for 4000 years of inspired scriptures from god ,nothing is said about a condition that effects every man from his birth to his death .. makes you wonder doesn`t it ?.

Most here are non JWs or don't believe that JWs are the one true religion. The advice would be to do research on the 'truth', and then marry who you want.
If you believe that it is the truth, then you should probably marry a fellow JW.
